#185 - Blogging, Blogging, Blogging & Rock Your Rack Is Only 2 Days Away

Blogging into the wee hours of the night/morning.... I really do love working when its so quiet. And I am writing to tell you that it's only two more days before the Rock Your Rack Event opens. You will have the opportunity to acquire some great items and exclusives from many designers and help raise money for breast cancer research at the same time! So, time to show you a little more of what you can get once the event opens.
Our Cause

This furniture set is from Outside The Box! and it is an Artist Room set. There is an Artist Room Futon/PG, Art Table/PG (with stool), Art Room Shelves and an Art Room Painting.

ART ROOM FUTON, SHELVES, PAINTING & ART TABLE FROM OUTSIDE THE BOX!

This set will only be available at the Rock Your Rack Event which begins on October 1st! Both the Futon and the Art Table have many poses in them for single and couples and the futon has a set of poses for friends too. I really appreciate when creators include some friend poses. More choice of how I can use the item.

The Art Table has male and female sits included. And when you click the SWAP button, you can see the CoWorker and Observer poses so two avatars can be at the table at the same time. I really like these items and they look great in my skybox.

Here are only a few of the female poses that are included in the futon. There are couple poses, friend poses and single male and female poses too. And its decorated with a few food and drink items, candles and a burning incense on the attached side table.

Here are some more home furnishings for you at the low, low price of $10L! This is from Dark Knight Decor, and all three pieces have a HUD to change the textures on each of them. So you get three in one item. Thse are the DKD Asian Influence Wall Art, DKD - Summer of L ove Tapestry and the DKD Asian Influence v2 Wall Art.

And the bright little mini dress you see is but one of 10 of the [Aleutia] Akasha (Apple) dresses that are available at The Wash Cart Sale. Each pack comes with two versions of the dress and one Fitted Mesh size and 5 standard mesh sizes included for each of the two versions. And the colors are so pretty! I am wearing this on the Maitreya Lara Mesh Body with only a few alpha cuts.

#183 - Retro Rewind & The Wash! Anachron is there!

Anachron is in a couple more events which I am sharing with you today! Anachron is at the Retro Rewind Event & The Wash Cart Sale - Indian Summer Round.

First this is the Bright Young Thing Dress in Peacock and the Daisy Hair with Headband - Diversity HUD. The Daisy Hair is an exclusive at the Retro Rewind Event. It is a 1920s hair with a decorated headband and there is an option without the headband but why wouldn't you?!But it's an option.

BRIGHT YOUNG THING DRESS & DAISY HAIR WITH HEADBAND

Ahhhh! Memories of the days past! this dress is great for RP or for just looking good! It comes in 5 Fitted Mesh sizes, 5 Standard Mesh Sizes and the Pearl Necklace is included too! The Daisy Hair is a short pixie-like cute hair with a beautifully decorated headband with hanging pearls and pretty plumage. It comes with two versions of the hair, one with the headband and one without, and you get 7 colors in each box. I am wearing this on a classic avatar head.

Anachron is right there at the landing point, so it's very easy to find! When you land, look for the "1920" on the ground to find which direction to go. You will have two more choices, 1950 & 1980. But you will find Bright Young Thing Dresses and the Daisy Hair in the 1920s section of the event.

#175 - Kickin' Up My Boots @ The Sexy Brit

So I was all hitting a writer's block today and all stressed out about doing a post for some reason so I decided to find a bar to take some pics of an outfit and bam! I had to hang around and kick up my boots a bit with some friends! Found the bar and found some good music and well, I wanted a bar to take pics at and it wasn't going to be a sit down kinda party so why not dance on the bar? Yeah! So here is a fun couple of hours I took to unwind before getting back to business tonight! And I got a good picture out of it too!

I stopped by The Sexy Brit to first, find out where they had moved to and then to get some pics of this outfit from +Facepalm+ called Brody and the Cinda Hair from !Head Desk! DJ Reicki was kicking out some great tunes and taking requests! And it was a fun time showing off this outfit! Here I was shaking it up on the bar with the host, Will Corrigan! The Sexy Brit has a great mix of music from the various DJ's they have there! Many different genre's of music are played here! If you like variety!

It's time again for that amazing sale called "The Wash Cart Sale"! This rounds theme is Indian Summer and it is very promising - as it usually is! Where else can you find such great quality items for only $10L? Here at the Wash! Most everything is $10L with each merchant offering one item for $50L, but still, such quality for so few lindens! You have to come look to see for yourself! I am not able to list them all in the posts that are forthcoming, but The Wash website does its best to list all the merchants and items available! Just FYI!

I love the colors in their items and they brighten a dark little corner of my skybox for me! I think I am really going to like this Indian Summer theme. I am loving these Southwestern looking designs...but again, its the colors I love! All available at The Wash!
