#576 - Visiting Faireholm

Visiting Faireholm where it is so sunny and bright, colorful, and a beautiful fountain at the landing point! I loved that! The garden courtyard where you can sit and enjoy is beautiful and peaceful! Then at the end of the garden, there is what appears to be a portal? A doorway perhaps to another dimension? But in this cheerful place? Why? And the opportunity presented itself to document this area, but I'm not going to give it all away...

ACIOS - EYES OF BAYOUNIMBA & DARK PASSIONS - BUTTERFLY FANTASY NAILS

These eyes! These Eyes! They are the Acios - Eyes of Bayounimba, and there are plenty of colors in this set! All piercing as seen above and will draw everyone's eyes to yours! There is a mesh set of eyes and hud included, or you can use the Omega hud to apply them to your own mesh eyes like I have here. Find Acios on the Bayounimba sim at the Fantasy Faire this year.

The Dark Passions - Butterfly Fantasy Nails includes 6 designs and have all that the fatpacks normally have as far as appliers. You get the Slink, Omega and Maitreya nail appliers that will apply to a number of bodies available. I thought these appropriate for the garden on Faireholm. And they so are! Find Dark Passions on the Twilight Spring sim at the faire.

The sunniness of Faireholm actually played tricks on my camera and the skin didn't actually look as drow toned as it really is. So here is another picture of the skin in better lighting so you can see the actual tone of the skin correctly. I think the new EEP windlights are messing with me sometimes, definitely during this first set of pictures!

The raised tattoo-like markings on my skin are from Birth, the 'Drums' Scarification tattoo. One of two RFL Scarifications offerings from Birth at the Fantasy Faire. Omega appliers included here and both the male and female versions are in each box. Find Birth on the Tensor's Flying Market sim. The Evie  Sandals here are from 1313 Mockingbird Lane and they are on the Nightshade Blossoms sim. There are many versions to choose from there.

#500 -- It's Twisted Time Again!

TWISTED PRIZES (MAIN & SIDE HUNT ITEMS) FROM MISHMASH FUSION - ROPED PASSIONS - LILITH'S DEN - FANTAVATAR & MOONSTRUCK

So it's our favorite Twisted time of the year again! It's the Twisted Hunt Inferno! Back for fall hunting and driving us completely crazy for these amazing hunt prizes! This time around the theme is Inferno and boy did I go through one to get these prizes here! All of the decor is from the Fantavatar & Moonstruck/Lilith's Den (#8 & # 11) side hunt (side hunt collaboration with both stores). If you haven't done it, it was great fun and it was very entertaining. Made me jump in a couple places. The big bones and lava gateway here is the F&M * Twisted Inferno Gate TP, and is actually a teleporter you can use on your land. As soon as I saw this, I had to have it! I was hoping this was available somewhere in the store or on the hunt, and it is!

These are the Mishmash Fusion - Genie Jean Shorts. These are a new release in the Mishmash Fusion store. They fit so wonderfully nice on my Maitreya Lara Mesh Body! I've done a lot of moving around and sitting, poses and they stay in place with no peeking skin anywhere. These are made for mesh bodies only with sizes for Bellezas, Slinks, Tonics, eBody, TMP and as seen above, Maitreya. It comes with a hud of 8 denim colors and 8 metals for the buttons. She walked into the speakeasy which was not yet busy looking for someone who had left her a message hoping to meet her face to face. She was nervous, this was not something regularly did or advisable being that her family was not the average family. They were pretty notorious and actually ran a few of these underground speakeasys, and keeping them well hidden from the police was a full time job. She knew nothing about the person who left her the note. As she waited for the meet up, she pondered even more so. They had decided to meet on her turf, and it may be just as questionable for him to meet her as it was for her to agree to meet him. She really didn't make much of an effort to dress casually like a regular patron either.

The very well tailored outfit she wore just shouted to the world that she was part of the family who controlled these speakeasys. This outfit is from Roped Passions, the Modern Pinstripe 20s Gangster Outfit seen worn on the Hourglass mesh body. It comes with the hat, tie, cuffs, corset top, pants and shoes (shoes are one size only). This outfit comes in sizes for Bellezas, Slinks, Maitreya and Classic Avatars and you can find it and the other items seen in this picture at the Twisted Sockdolanger RFL Summer Sale & Mini Hunt until June 30th. And then as she finished her drink, in he came through the door. Is this him, she wondered? She couldn't stop herself from staring at him. He was wonderful to look at but she had to catch herself and gather her thoughts. She needed to be careful though, no matter how dashing, she didn't yet know anything about him outside the note. So play it cool, she told herself.

The entire outfit is one piece and is the suit only. The sizes included are for some male mesh bodies I've not heard of before but one of them fits with fewer alpha cuts than all the others on this body. He is wearing the [AK Deluxe] Leon mesh head shape with the Adam body unedited. This is also available at the Twisted Sockdolanger event as is this very fancy Love Everlasting ~ Art Deco Bar.

She thought maybe this was the person who left the note, so thought she would observe him for a short bit before heading over and speaking since he hadn't noticed her yet. So for now, she'd enjoy the view.
The eyes and hair here are both new releases. The Moonrise Eyes - Jade are from .:Soul:. and will be at the Men Only Monthly which opened on June 20th and runs until July 15th. There are 10 colors to choose from, the Jade version is shown above.
The hair is the Adoness - Valasca 2.0 (unisex) hair and is a mohawk style hair for both men and women. The Greysale hud version is shown here. This is a re-sizable hair and partially rigged and can be adjusted to your head and resized via the color change hud. This is only available right now at the Midsummer Enchantment Event. This event runs from June 15th - 30th.

As I approached I stopped to take a look around the area. I knew it could be guarded by more than these statues. I heard rustling and more sounds, but I was accompanied by wildlife all around. I stared and listened for a while before entering and looking around the fire for any signs of what activities might happen here. I could see nothing, no traces of any activities that had gone on here.

#448 - To The Warriors - Fantasy Faire Opens

Upon my most recent wanderings, I found something that touched my heart and I had to stop and sit to ponder what the warriors who've gone before us had gone through and what might they be experiencing. I wondered, are they watching from above, from beyond? How strong they were to have to fight this fight. I've not thought of that very often. How brave some are to go thru trials unknown, scary and with no guarantees of a health benefit to themselves or for that matter, their own life. All to find a cure. All simply to learn and hopefully heal, and for the benefit to those of us who come after them. This memorial brought all these thoughts rushing into my head.

HARSHLANDS - [HL] FF2018 MEMORIAL STONE

This is the Harshlands - [HL] FF2018 Memorial Stone. It brought all those thoughts into my head upon first seeing it. I think I may spend some quiet or reflective times here when I need it. The writing says this:

"To the Warriors who fought without giving up -- May your light never fade."

I hope I can keep up this fight too. If the current situation is any predictor, I am going to be well for a good while. I hope that is the case. You never want to be too confident with this disease. It can sneak up on you or return with a vengeance sometimes. But I am so glad others before me have fought this fight too. I know I am not alone and there are many who support this effort every year just to help trying to find a cure. Fantasy Faire this year is going to help fund a Hope Lodge in Kenya for others who also need hope. They also fight. I hope we can raise enough to give them what they need and send more hope their way. You can read more about our mission this (10th) year here.

HARSHLANDS - MYSTIC DOME & THE DARK FAE - ANUBIS GUARDIAN

After my time of reflection, I wandered further and found something larger and as I approached, I grew more curious. It had stairs on all sides and what appeared to be Anubis statues with burning embers on either side of the entrance I was facing. An interesting mix I must say. This was something mystical and well cared for to be so far into this wilderness. A fire burned brightly in the center, but not a normal fire this one is a greenish color...interesting. Different from the fire held by its guardians. I wonder what this could be?

But you only have until March 31st to visit these stores and try to find the elusive spinning Twisted Cube! Which you can see an example of in the 1st and 2nd pictures above. Here's another amazing Twisted Hunt Main Gift! This one is from Crones Garden #75, and it is their main hunt prize. This is a skybox and all the decor you see here is included. I am not sure how many prims are here, but you will need a few prims to fully rez this skybox. I rezzed it once and it did not fully rez, but I had no idea. Then I did it again to move it and more stuff showed up! I am almost at capacity here! And the rez box actually fits the decor in here too, it's the little head in the middle there near the gazebo. So you can leave it out if you want, or maybe you should...I haven't experimented with it quite yet.

And finally, here are more new cosmetics from Booty's Beauty! Booty's Beauty is not in the Twisted Hunt but, she just keeps rolling them out week after week! Here you see the Punk Pixie Brows, Wildfire Lashes and Lipstick, Rajkumari Eyeshadow and Fresh Eyes! All Catwa makeup/eye huds. I am wearing the Cheap Wine Above Lip Piercing, from the Cheap Wine Makeup set, which is also new. All of these are new this past Friday too (except the Punk Pixie Brows!). So check her out! I am really loving her makeup! There are quite a bit of her makeup also in Omega appliers if you have something other than a Catwa head.

And, the Happy Easter face tattoo is from ***DSO*** (Designs by Starla O'Conner), a previous Twisted Hunt Merchant, who made these for the quickly coming Easter! It's a gacha in her store and this is just one of the tattoos you can win from it. This is applied via an Omega applier but you also get a system layer version too, if you happen to need that. Thank you Starla!

As you go through Twisted Hunt Atlantis, be aware that as you explore the watery depths that you will not be alone! There will be others watching as you enter their domains...
Among the colorful flora in the waters will be creatures in their familiar habitats who will be watching from a safe distance. Some friendly and some not so friendly, so be mindful of that!

Above you see a combination of some Twisted Hunt Gifts. Side Hunt Gifts and Twisted Gachas along with some very cool body attachements from .:Soul:. The mermaid tail seen here is from Moonlitecat Creations #58 and is her main hunt prize. I am wearing it with the Slink Hourglass Mesh body. The body wrap is from a Twisted Hunt Gacha at Mishmash Fusion #42. The cube floating above my head is the (RP) Snarky Cube Head Pet, a side hunt prize at Roped Passions #15, click it for random snarkiness!!

The plants around me are from an LEP #12 Twisted hunt gacha and a side hunt at Lilith's Den #7. The surrounding building is from Sweet Revolutions #9 and is their main hunt gift, the Church of the Cthuluh. The full build is not seen in this post but you can see it on Flickr or in my last post.

The .:Soul:. Syreni Headfins and Gills are attachements that seem so fitting for this round of the Twisted Hunt! So I had to try these out. The headfins are modify so you can move them to fit your head as you need and you can also shrink them, which I have not done here. They do have Omega built in so you can match the skin to your own. The .:Soul:. UniEars - Mer Long are not Omega compatible but they do have a hud you can tint them with to match your skin and they also have the .:Soul:. skins in it to match those tones exactly. And you can move them around too just in case you need to. I have one of the new human shades in the Gyouko skins. The .:Soul:. Gyouko Gen2 - F- [H4] skin. And it is in the hud too so they can match my skin. You can also use the hud to tint the color tattoos on the edges of the ears to any color you like. The headfins and gills both change with any Syreni hud you use so they match each other too.

Time for those warm sweaters to keep us all cozy and safe from the chill of the air! Here is one such sweater, new in the store and an exclusive skirt from the OK Fair (already ended) to go with the sweater. Yes, I am still behind! My SL and RL are still fighting! I am a busy, busy lady! I hope to be gaining ground soon!

+FCC+ HOCUS POCUS SWEATER & IPSWITCH PREP SKIRT

I am a big fan of the +FCC+ T-shirts with the various sayings on them. The +FCC+ Hocus Pocus Sweater seen above has a hud with 8 different sayings for the sweater. The +FCC+ Ipswitch Prep Skirt also has a hud with 10 different dark plaids to choose from. Both are made for classic and mesh avatar bodies. Both include sizes for Standard Mesh, 3 Belleza, 2 Slink, 2 Tonic, Maitreya and TMP bodies, including an alpha for the classic avatar. The Hocus Pocus Sweater also includes an eBody size too. This is worn on the Belleza Freya in the picture above.

A very transparent dress, but hey! Great for those lingerie or PJ parties! It comes with attached panties and a hud with 6 colors. 

These amazing boots are the ~*MishMash Fusion*~ Iris Boots and they are a new release in the store now. It comes with sizes for Belleza, Slink, Tonic, Maitreya & TMP. 15 colors and 3 faces to customize (Boots, Straps, Metal). There is a separate set of huds specifically for the Maitreya size, and you can tint each color as needed! I really like that! I've been using it to match to these outfits seen above. They are worn on the Maitreya Lara Mesh Body in the pictures above.

Here is one of the latest releases from Facepalm Clothing Company, +FCC+ Venita. Venita comes with a hud with 10 colors for the shirt and 10 colors for the cardigan. There are also other HUDs you can purchase to give you additional choices for this outfit. You can also get all 4 Huds in the fatpack. Here I am showing you a few of the choices from included hud. Venita is made only for mesh bodies and you get 3 Belleza, 2 Slink and Maitreya sizes. This is great paired with jeans or a long skirt and is a good Fall casual look.

+FCC+ VENITA (CARDIGAN & TEE) WITH VELVET OUTER HUD 

The Velvet Outer Hud only changes the cardigan colors of the Venita set. There are 5 each  of the dark velvet solids and patterns in this hud.
