The Appalachian Event is a new event that runs from May 5th to May 20th. The grounds are so pretty and it's a nice country styled area. So pretty to see and the stalls look like little country porches, so very cute!

Also at this event is a store called Captured Waters. Here is a look at what she creates for your home or gardens. There are quite a few of these Dragon Box Fountains. This one is inside my home, but I think it would look just as nice outside in the yard too like in a sitting area maybe? Or a quiet spot where you can meditate? I am thinking outside!

CAPTURED WATERS - DRAGON BOX 1 FOUNTAIN

This is the Captured Waters - Dragon Box 1 Fountain, it is resize it to as large as you'd like and the prims will stay the same. And it comes in a much smaller size out of the box than seen here (as they all do). This one is resized to almost the height of the ceiling in my home. This has a click on and off water sound.

CAPTURED WATERS - BLUE RIDGE SPRING

This is the Captured Waters - Blue Ridge Spring fountain and this one is sitting outside my home on the porch. Another feature with this one is the water texture here can be changed. You can have the beaded waters cascade down the picture or you can have waves of waters cascading down the picture and there is a sound on and off option with a click on the picture. You click the water to change that texture. You will find both these fountains at the Appalachian Event - Captured Waters store.

#309 - A Quiet Day Of Writing

Hanging out one morning in my pajamas, I sat out on the small patio just thinking about the day ahead. It was so quiet, only the birds chirping and traffic in the far distance. Sometimes it's so great just to have a quiet moment, a few hours or a whole day of quiet time. Though today was not going to be a full day of quiet, that is a very rare thing in my world and I assume in many others too. It was a nice quiet morning. All the following items are shown on the Maitreya Lara Mesh Body.

As the day wore on, I wanted to stretch out on the beach and continue my writing. I love to be on the beach so much but I must be comfortable, so I donned some shorts also from Facepalm Clothing Company and laid out on the beach to continue working. The +FCC+ SUE ELLEN shorts (also at the Jersey Shore event) come with a 13 texture hud and here you see them in the green print texture along with the Deja tank again, this time in green. I have previously blogged these shorts so if you want more on them, take a look at post #304, where I go into more detail. So the day dragged on and I got quite a bit of writing done. Now it was time to head out on the SL highways and find myself a party! Off to find a dress!

The +FCC+ LUCINDA'S LACE is my choice for tonight's night out at the clubs! It is a lace mini dress with a connected choker. It is sheer all around the sides and the back with a solid panel in front to cover you as needed. Very sexy and comes with a 7 color hud. It is a fitmesh dress that includes sizes for Standard Mesh (5), 3 Belleza, 2 Slink, 1 Maitreya and TMP sizes. Ladies, I think you are gonna love this one! I love lace dresses and this one being sheer makes it better. I can show off some skin but still be covered at the same time! Lol! Yes, what a tease! Where else can you find such great quality items for only $10L? Here at the Wash! Most everything is $10L with each merchant offering one item for $50L, but still, such quality for so few lindens! You have to come look to see for yourself! I am not able to list them all in the posts that are forthcoming, but The Wash website does its best to list all the merchants and items available! [MO] MAGNUM OPUS HALLOWEEN TABLES & LAMPS

First, Magnum Opus with his Halloween Tables and Lamps! And they are toggle on/off lights too. They come separately and have very interesting and spooky fabrics on them. Perfect for your Halloween decorating!

Here we have some dark wood end tables and upon those I sat some cacti on either side of my bed. Lucky we don't have to worry about poking ourselves or even sleeping! :D No alarm clock needed! The Barrel Cactus and the Flowering Cactus are from The Artist's Shed and they have some colorful offerings for you this round! I love the colors in their items and they brighten a dark little corner of my skybox for me! I think I am really going to like this Indian Summer theme. I am loving these Southwestern looking designs...but again, its the colors I love! All available at The Wash!

The top is mesh and I am wearing the Maitreya size. There are Standard, Belleza, Slink and Maitreya Sizes included all for $10L! The shorts are applied with Omega appliers and although I don't too much go for appliers on me, I really like how these shorts look on me. They are definitely going to be worn quite a bit!

And the shoes! The heels! Made for Slink High Feet by !TLB are the Vixen Heels with a color change HUD for six colors. Only $10L!

#130 - Decor & More @ The Wash

I unpacked this darling little set of nautical home decor (could also be outdoor decor) from The Mustard Seed and it is just so cute! I love this design, I wish I had a little porch to place it all on so I could be outside with it! The chairs would go great outside at the water's edge. So I can still use them there too. And all this is found at The Wash which runs thru July 6th and where everything is $10L!

HOPE BLOCKS FROM [MO] MAGNUM OPUS

 These Hope Blocks are stacked as you can see and stand tall as they display their message to all who enter your home. They will have a permanent place in my home since I live by this in so many areas of my life! [MO] Magnum Opus has lots of other items too and he has another set of blocks that say "Give Thanks" too. And I featured a couple more of his items on Post #124.
