#697 - Traveling Around The Fantasy Faire

HIDDEN CAVE ON MELUSINA'S DEPTHS

Riding my trusty kelpy, I took a ride around the amazing depths of Melusina. This is an amazing place. I've already been here but missed so much! So of course, I had to go back and explore further. I still need to find the ruins here, those I have not run across yet. Never has the underwater been more enticing. Make sure to wander off the beaten paths when you visit. SOUL - RANITOMEYA V2 SKIN

This is the .:Soul:. Ranitomeya V2 [G3] Skin, in the RFL tone. So lovely I think. I really like this one's markings, I own a few of them and I really do like the colors in this line. And these are a new Gen 3 skin line at the Fantasy Faire this year. I have applied it using BoM to the AK W001 Head and Slink Hourglass Mesh Body. I have applied the specific BoM Layer for the head to this AK head. The full BoM skin doesn't apply to the head, so you must either apply it with the Omega applier or try the BoM Brow or NoBrow layers to apply the skin to the head. I have used the BoM NoBrow Layer here. But there is a note included when you apply the skin to his particular head. Which is possibly the same with all the other AK Advanced heads. I thought once the Bakes on Mesh button worked and the skin showed up, but the next time it did not. This skin is available for both male and female and only at Fantasy Faire on the Zodiac sim.

The outfit is the Roped Passions - Olina Enchantress Outfit Purple and it is RP's RFL outfit this year. Very sexy and lovely, showing lots of skin! Yes it does! And sheer in the back too! I am wearing it on the Slink Hourglass Mesh Body. Ooo la la! Find it at the Fantasy Faire on the Lamented Fens sim.

Staying away from the hustle and bustle of the busy areas of the sims. I love looking from a distance to see a bigger picture or just enjoying the waves because I am in the middle of the US and always indoors. No ocean waves around here either! It's nice to sit quietly (or lean) and think on things after exploring for a while.

FOLLY - HELLION FANTASY MAKEUP  BOM RFL, *TSM* WARPATH - S5 - L.E. FANTASY FAIRE 2015 RFL

This is an RFL exclusive hair from The Stringer Mausoleum, *TSM* Warpath. I have always been a fan of the Warpath hair from *TSM* and I couldn't believe I didn't have this one! It is only one color and resizable. Not expensive either and perfect for what I wanted to create. Something less, soft looking? You can find *TSM* on the Zodiac sim.
The makeup is from Folly - Hellion Fantasy Makeup BoM RFL. There are many different colors available and they are easy on your wallet too. These are both BoM layers and Omega applied. I used the BoM layer above. It is layered over the .:Soul:. Brows BoM layer for the skin (just FYI). Find Folly on the Lamented Fens sim.
The eyes are from TLB! - Lyric Eyes/Purple (Omega applied) and are also at the Fantasy Faire on Autumnium.

The outfit is The Annex - Kimama Black separates, (top, bottom & panties) also found at the Fantasy Faire right now. Also shown on the Hourglass mesh body. Find The Annex on the Cassiopeia sim. There really is so much to see and find here with more shopping sims this year. Shop while all these beautiful sims surround you.

You can find this skin set at The Darkness which runs until July 30th. Death never looked so beautiful!

The dress is the SG Miori Dress - Vanilla which is currently at the Curves event. Worn on the Belleza Freya, it also comes in sizes for the Maitreya and Slink Hourglass. Of course...it is at Curves afterall, right? 

The silver/grey lipstick is the MOEKO Starstruck Terra (Omega) set, available at Curves as a gift at the MOEKO booth. Six colors and I've applied it to the Catwa Kittia Head.

So, after seeing America win again, I was so inspired! Honestly, I've been inspired way before today but after Friday's win... I felt like practicing!

RYL - SOCCER GIRL OUTFIT @ HASHTAG

The Hashtag event runs until month end, so only a couple days left to get this cute jumpsuit representing the women of the WWC games right now. This is the RYL - Soccer Girl. #292 - Remembering Those We've Lost And Those Still Fighting

FOLKLORIC [F] ASHARA'S DRESS (GOLD & SEAFOAM)

There are many areas to explore at the Medieval Faire, but one in particular is very beautiful not just because of it's scenery, but because of it's meaning. The Hope Garden. Whether you go here to remember those you've lost or to hope and/or pray for the best outcomes for those who are struggling and living with cancer, it is a very peaceful area of the Medieval Faire. There are benches around to sit and take in the sights around you, or sit and pray or send good thoughts and vibes to those who are living with cancer. Those in your life, in friend's lives, or just in general all those who are living with a cancer diagnosis and/or those whom we've lost. 

The butterflies flutter softly around the Hope Garden among all the flora and fauna. There is a waterfall across from the deck as you enter the garden. I donned this full length gown from Folkloric, the Ashara's Dress (outfits for the menfolk too!) and the matching Circlet, and decided to visit the Hope Garden today to do some reflection and meditation. This dress comes in two color versions and there are demos in the Folkloric stall to try before you buy.

I myself live with a breast cancer diagnosis and although I don't really try to think too much on it, I do still often pray for continued improving health for myself and those I know who are living with their diagnosis. And it is during the quiet moments of the day that this comes to my mind to remember to do this. Our lives are so hectic and busy and technology keeps us constantly connected, so places like The Hope Garden help me to slow down and remember to ask for continued strength and improving health as I continue on my journey. Why not visit The Hope Garden at the Medieval Faire to slow down a bit and reflect on whomever might be in your life that needs your prayers and well wishes?

FOLKLORIC - THE HUNTSMAN (NAVY)

Meanwhile, the man was out checking out the arenas on the fairegrounds to see what if any challenges they presented. This is the Sword Melee Arena which is on the Activities Sim at the Medieval Faire. You will have to do some climbing to get to this area which is behind the Jousting Arena and up the hill after crossing the horse track. I wonder if I will hear his thoughts on the area when he returns? He wears a Navy blue outfit called The Huntsman which is also from Folkloric. There are two color versions of this outfit for men and they come with both hood up and hood down versions in each package. There is a demo to try before you buy as well.
As seen above, there are more activities around the faire that you may not know about, Jousting, Horse races, Archery and more. There is a rather large sign showing all the scheduled activities that will be happening during the faire and you can also see it on the Tournament Schedule found here. There is also a Schedule of Events at the faire.

#278 - Hovering Over Raven's Perch

Took these amazingly cool wings for a spin over Raven's Perch! It was nice to up there and see the sim from a bird's eye view. I don't think they liked my presence very much, they kept cawing at me quite loudly. These are the Ascendant Wings (Ascend) by Spider Productions. They are very customizeable and come with a Wing AO. They are bento and so they move when you fly and move slightly when you are not. There are a few positions you can place them in and you can also change the colors by layer if you like. I've done only the tips slightly lighter than the rest of the wings here. They do make sounds of large flapping wings, which I really like. You will find Spider Productions on the Fallen Sands sim.

The skin is from Plastik, this is the :[P]:- Koie Skin (Femme):// RFL Hope which you will see as you enter the booth at Fantasy Faire. It includes ALL the appliers you might ever need and Omega appliers. There are nail appliers and different versions of the skin as well as a face tattoo you can add that matches the markings on the skin. And yes, .:Soul:. Uni Ears Appliers are included too. You can find Plastik on Chaddul Ro.

The outfit is the !TLB Adara Outfit for all those mesh bodies! It is shown here on the Maitreya Lara Mesh body. It comes with a hud with 10 colors and the matching boots! !TLB is on the Raven's Perch sim.

Arm bands and collar are the Bliensen + MaiTai.- Grasp - Armbands & Collar (sold separately) in black. You will find Bliensen + MaiTai on The Spirit Pool sim.

The hair is from Analog Dog - Merida - Splash. You can find Analog Dog on The Hill.

Well, its been pretty busy these last few weeks! It seems as if you can never stop for a break! So I just keep on, keepin' on! This outfit is the +FCC+ Shelby outfit and the !Head Desk! Isabelle Hair. And the jacket is so cool! Very detailed and it looks great! You will receive the jacket (shown here on the Slink Hourglass Body), jeans, applier bodysuit, and boots (not shown). As you can imagine, you get quite a few mesh body sizes, such as: 5 Standard, 3 Belleza, 2 Tonic, 2 Slink, Ebody, Maitreya & TMP! WOW! Shelby will have you covered for so many different bodies! #136 - Anaconda Skate Party

ROLL BOUNCE SKATE PARTY @ ANACONDA

One of my favorite places called Anaconda Interracial Night Club, Beach & Mall, recently had a Roll Bounce Skate Party and so I thought that means some skating music I would be familiar with, so I had to be there! And it was great fun! I did love the music, the DJs played quite a bit of retro dance music and all kinds which I did not expect to hear at this club! I got to know a nice guy (Dimitris Titanium) there and we danced the night away.

From one of the destinations on the SL Blogger Support website, I found a wonderful place to just sit and relax and just enjoy the scenery. A place to meditate, wander, sit quietly and just release it all. All the stresses of a post-bad relationship mess of a mind we sometimes have after a relationship has gone bad on us! This is Black Basalt Beach. And a great place to show off more On the Boardwalk goodies to mend your broken heart!

#22 - Disco Dance Party deserves a great Disco look!

Last week I attended a Disco music set by one of my favorite DJs and good friend, DJ Star (Starman2k7 Randt). I showed up and he and his host were all dressed up in Disco outfits with afros and all that! I had seen the notice but I'd been so busy with RL family and blogging in between so I forgot to get an outfit together so when I showed up I was in one of my blogging outfits. Sure, not everyone shows up all dressed up and I've not been to a themed party in soooo long. But I felt so out of place until the beat hit me! LOL. But still I wanted to dress up too, so when I found out Part 2 of the Disco set was today, I had to get in costume and join the fun! Here is the result and it was perty cheap! And I cheated a little with my own stuff! I can't believe I did not have any disco clothing in my inventory!

I cheated by wearing some slink heels I already had so they weren't in theme but they matched! And the flexi at the bottom of the outfit hid them anyway. There was no one there looking at my shoes! The Fro and the outfit was perfect! And it only cost me $45 Lindens! Outfit - Shoes (which I did not use) - Jewelry - Earrings (not worn) AND the Afro where included! There are a few things I didn't wear from the outfit trying to make it as I liked it. And this was the end result! I love it! I ended up partying in it later at an R&B club too... totally out of character there but I liked it that much! LOL. So, I had to share it here too!

Yup, I had dances to match the theme too. I kept digging and I found more than I knew I had so I must have done this before sometime that I've forgotten! Hope you get the chance to hear this DJ if you like R&B, Funk and Ol' Skool music, he loves to play that and on Tuesdays at 2 pm SLT, its on at The Dish with DJ Star! Next week, its Funk music! Inworld he is Starman Randt.

#20 - Party time is over! Back to Work!

All the year end festivities have come to an end and now its time to get back to work! And there are still items at The Wash that can help you get back to work in style! Now the outfit I have on looks more like a party but I really like these two pieces together. I am wearing the Eluzion * Janya STARS Leggings and the !TLB - Dani Top V1 w/ HUD. And they look great together. Truthfully, I have been partying in them the entire New Year's Weekend, but I would wear this to work too! I love this outfit! I threw on a Christmas Group Gift hair from ICONIC to finish off this look and the heels are from Loordes of London also at The Wash and featured in a previous post I did.

#15 - All Dressed Up, And No Where To Go!

This cute little outfit from Aaric's Design is very sexy, skimpy and oh so cute!  We are so lucky that we don't have to worry about the elements in Second Life! That makes looking good soooo much easier than real life. But, I still decided to stay indoors with this one (though I did do some partying later on this day in this outfit!). I lounged around the small but cozy cabin on our sim which the sim owner decided to have up during the winter months as a fun Winter getaway for all the parcel renters on the sim. There are games and skating and its very pretty and so nicely put together. But that is the great thing, we can look this good without all the bulky clothing I so do not like when it is cold outside! The Blinky Lights Santa Hat is from Darling Home & Gifts and they have two more options with Antlers and Antlers w/Lights too!

The White Fur Stole is from More Than Ever who is also at The Wash. White and fluffy, I think it adds a bit of glamour to this sexy outfit. #9 - A Final Farwell...Stay Cozy and Warm

Well, the last couple of days are upon us...it's been great to experience all the designs from the creators at the On the Boardwalk Gacha Fair. The Frozen Fantasy round is nearly over, the clock will strike midnight on the 4th and that will be the end! I hope you've made it down here to check out the gachas especially created for the event. I will be trimming the tree and decking the halls in this warm and gorgeous blue pastel snowflake fur trimmed dress. Very luxurious and did I mention gorgeous?
