#769 - Winter Daydreams

 I love it when the snow blankets everything and makes it all so pretty! When it's not too cold but just right for snow! And, that is only if I do not need to go out in it!

Still, it is beautiful and here, I can frolic in it and not worry about dealing with the snow! Wonderful, is it not! I can also sit here and daydream about a warm, snowy winter since it's possible here in SL! And here are the items I chose to wear out into the snow at my friends home! She has the outside decorated wonderfully pretty and full of snow!

If you are a fan of the Ugly Sweaters for the season, here is a great one from ZFG! The ZFG - YUKIO UGLY sweater dress. It's an Ugly Sweater dress! There are both human tones and fantasy tones available in the store now. Each package includes head appliers. Body Appliers (Includes Bakes on Mesh layers), Ear Appliers, Censors and Dick Dyes are sold separately, so don't leave the store without all your needed items!

The heels here are from Roped Passions. They are the RP - Snowflake Heels Red. They are a special for the holidays and were in the Roped Passions Advent Calendar and are now available for sale. Valentine's Day is coming y'all! So there are so many items representing love (or anti-valentines) all around the grid! I have a few of those items here today.

Above, one of the ZFG - WILD CHILD gacha shirts. There are 5 commons and 2 rares in the WILD CHILD Shirt Gacha at The Gacha Life. There is also a men's version of this gacha too! So guys, you can get some of these sarcastic shirts and show us all what you are thinking! This includes sizes for various mesh bodies and an alpha layer (see list on gacha key). This event runs from Feb 5th - 29th! 

I am also wearing the ZFG - HONOR HORROR skirt which is a Hunt Gift in the Dirty Little Secrets Hunt which is in the store and ends Feb 25th! #649 - The Workout Begins!

Time for a run and workout! But first, I need some energy to burn off! LOL!

ZFG - MEL HOODIE

This is the ZFG - Mel Hoodie outfit. It is a one piece item with the hoodie and bodysuit/jumpsuit connected together. Fits like a glove! I did have some alpha-ing around the upper legs, which isn't uncommon in the Belleza Freya Mesh body when wearing clothing. I am loving it and it shows off all the curves! I am wearing the Belleza Freya size here. It is part of the Energy Weekend Price at ZFG this weekend. ZFG got started early this week with her weekend sales, so you can find this today in the store.

DP - KOFFIN NAILS - GOLDEN ZODIAC IN THE STARS NAILS

I am also showing off the Dark Passions - Koffin Nails - Golden Zodiac in the Stars Nails which were previously at the Fallen Gods Anniversary Market. I used the Omega appliers on the Belleza nails but the packs come with Slink and Maitreya nail appliers as well. These should be in the store in the near future, and if I am wrong about that, I will update this post once I find out.

#606 - Overdressed A Bit?

Visiting a friend's small little beach shack, I laid out across the hammock on the porch. Lots of sun and the ocean nearby I quickly figured out, I was severely overdressed for this climate. 

Where I live, it's been pretty rainy and here, it's the opposite! Which must have subliminally made me dress this way. I felt dark before heading this way so that is how I dressed! I am wearing the Crom - Zorana Overall Shorts and Shirt. Just one of a so many outfits you will find at The Wash Cart Sale. I am wearing it on the Maitreya Lara. And it comes with many more mesh body sizes along with 3 Fitmesh standard sizes (S-M-L). 

This body shape is currently at the the Underdog event and is the Facet Originals - Yvette shape made for the Catwa Catya. I am wearing her on the Maitreya and have edited the body for more curves. The ad shows her with the Belleza body, so keep that in mind when you wear her, she'll need some plumping up unless you are wearing her with the Belleza body already. Plus, there is a styling card included with purchase. So you will be able to get her looking just like the ad if you'd like! That is a plus! The Underdog event runs from July 1st to Aug 1st.

So I took full advantage of the restful peace here. It was a lazy day and everything I needed was here for me already. It's great to have a friend who doesn't mind you lazing around their place!

So this is the Crom - Zorana Overall Shorts and Shirt (@The Wash) and paired them with the {zfg} serena leopard heels! Aren't they amazing! So sexy, they look great! They are made for the Belleza, Maitreya and Slink high feet. And a 12 texture hud too. They are currently at the Twe12ve event which runs until the end of this month.

And what better nail design for the beaches than mermaid scales? Dark Passions is currently at the Mermaid Cove event right now with these two designs: Dark Passions - KN - Oil Painted Siren (darks) and Oil Painted Mermaid (pastels). Mermaid Cove runs thru July 26th.

Those little Sea Stars seen there are not just a filler picture, they are available at The Wash too! The LpOca - sea stars are one of the 10L items at The Wash! Some nice beachy decor for your beachfront home!

The dark eyeshadow shown here is also from Dark Passions and this set is available at the Loading event. These are the Dark Passions - Neon Nightshade Eye makeup set. With 5 colors in the hud along with a makeup remover (I LOVE that part). Included are System Layers for Classic Avatars, Catwa, Lelutka and Omega appliers for mesh heads. Perfect to accent these wild eyes I am wearing too! Loading is a new Gamer Themed Monthly Event. It runs from the 9th to the 29th every month!

Finally, to add to my darkness feel today, I am wearing these cool animated eyes from Elemental. These are at the We Love Role Play event that runs from the 4th thru the 30th every month. These are the Elemental - 'Eerie' Animated Eyes. They are sold in packs of four colors and are actual mesh eyes with a hud included in each set. And of course, there is a fatpack of all the eyes. Very cool! There are two styles, the reaching hands seen above or flames of fire.

RELAXING ON {CBD} POLLY'S CUDDLE CHAIR

I was relaxing on the {Casa de Bebe} Polly's Cuddle Chair which has single poses for both sexes and for couples. The decor items to the right of me are from Lilith's Den. A trio of Plastic plants in 3 colors, a Wedding Table Lamp and their Antique Wedding Cabinet are all shown here.

Relaxing is always nicer with fewer clothes on! I am wearing the Sweet Peach Design - "Night Becomes Day" baby doll. This comes with a hud that has many color options on it. There are 4 parts you can change on the baby doll. Made for mesh bodies in sizes for the Bellezas, Slinks, Tonics and Maitreya (shown).

And I hadn't kicked off my shoes yet because they are so adorable and cute! These are the Sort Of - Monica heels and I am wearing them on the Maitreya Lara Mesh Body. They also include sizes for Bellezas and Slinks too.

After donning this outfit, the RYL - Las Vegas West, I felt the need to get on a bar and dance! And so I did! This outfit is made for mesh bodies only (Bellezas, Slinks & Maitreya) and comes with six pieces, all seen here. I am wearing it on the Maitreya Lara Mesh Body. You get the Hat, Tank top, Jacket, Panty, Chaps and Boots. The full deal! This was at the UP event this month and is now in the RYL store. So come and get it! The panty covers you nicely under these chaps! The tank shows some slight nip, so some might like a nipple cover underneath it. I think my hair sufficed here!

#541 - Keep Winter Close to You with Wintry Themed Nails from Dark Passions!

The snow is so pretty here! It's not fun to drive around in though! If you are missing out on the snow, or just love snowflakes, I have some nails you might like to have! You can be in a warm weather climate for the winter but still enjoy the beauty and uniqueness of snowflakes with these designs from Dark Passions.

DARK PASSIONS - WINTER REFLECTIONS NAILS

 This design was available at the Winter's Hollow event last month and are now in the store (or will be soon!). There are actually two slightly different versions you can purchase. The Winter Reflections and the Wiccan Winter Reflections. The one I am showing here have what appears to be a pearl in the center of the snowflake design on the nails. The Wiccan version has a pentagram in the center of the snowflake design. Both were available at the event and now will be in the store soon, if not already.

The Dark Passions - Snow Wish Nails are a candy cane striped nail with snowflake insets in varying colors. There are five color snowflakes to choose from in this set. This set is one of the sets outside the store right now with a winter theme. There are many more sets there and they are discounted. So check those out!

This partially hidden hair seen here is Asteria 2.0, a new release from Adoness @ the Salon 52 event (previously known as Hairology). This is the first I've heard of this event for everything related to hair! So something new to check out! Asteria 2.0 is a lady mohawk/mullet-like style with side locks! Long layered locks hangs over one of your eyes in the front and you can wear it with or without the side locks too. It is a gorgeous style and if you are a fan of Adoness hair (or not!) you will want to pick this one up!

The shape here is from Facet Shapes - Celia and she is at the current Twe12ve Event that runs all month long! She is an Exclusive and can only be purchased at the event right now. Celia is made for the Catwa Catya head and Maitreya body, but I have edited her to fit my Catwa Uma head. This shape will work for most any mesh body as well as Maitreya too.

There is also a second version of the Snow Wish nails. The Dark Snow Wish. Still in a candy cane stripe, but black and white with the varying colored snowflakes. A few of the designs outside the store do have a light and dark version. And they are discounted too! Lots to choose from!

And sadly, I have news about Facepalm today. Facepalm will be closing it's doors on August 1st. I am really going to miss blogging for Ripley. #459 - Sometimes A Woman's Touch Is Not Enough

I thought adding a little bright decor would help the dark, rather dim basement bar and help soften it. But sometimes, a woman's touch is just not enough. I think it needs a full remodel!

So I looked around the man bar and pondered what else I might be able to do right away, if anything. It was such a mess and so dreary! I could think of nothing more that I had on hand, because this place needed a lot of work! And who knows if he'd even let me do it. I was sneaking these things in already! Well, so much for now. Maybe I should just take this stuff down. These decor pieces might get depressed and dark just hanging here. Lol! I was looking around and loving the look and feel of this floor length skirt from Facepalm Clothing. This is the +FC+ Zinnia skirt and it comes with a hud of 12 texture hud and in sizes for both Classic and Mesh Avatar bodies. In the package you will receive sizes for Belleza, Tonic, Slink, Maitreya, TMP and Standard sizes. Zinnia is a new release at the Twe12ve event until the 30th. Then it should be in the store.

I am also wearing new polish from Dark Passions. This is called Synthetic Glow and these nails can be found at the Fantasy Collective until June 10th. This is one of two new designs there. These are applied to Omega nails on the Maitreya hands.

#447 - Time For New Blooms

Isn't Springtime all about the new blooms and pretty flowers, new growth everywhere? I am so glad that within Second Life, we can have that whenever we'd like! April in my part of the country is not cooperating as far as bringing the warmth and new blooms as it normally would. But hey, I can always step into Second Life and find something to take the chill off of a cold day, that should be a warm day!

FACEPALM HOME - MORTICIA'S GREENHOUSE

Facepalm now has a furniture or home decor line called Facepalm Home. This is one of the newest offerings, +FH+ Morticia's Greenhouse, and you can find this at the Dark Side 3 event this month along with the Morticia's Potting Table seen behind me in this photo. The greenhouse comes with the roses inside and out front as seen here (all one linked build) and is available for purchase at the event. The Morticia's Potting Table is one of two $10L gifts at this event. I am using it to house my normal plants and keep them protected from the wild growing alien (and not so alien) plant life growing outside all around the parcel. 

+FH+ BLOOMS AND BUNNIES

Back here on either side of the potting table are the Facepalm Home - Blooms and Bunnies which is available at the Twe12ve event this month. And, as you can see they are already planted so beautifully in some railroad tiers for easy placing. These would probably look very nice in outside on the lawn. I am keeping them inside to protect them from the wildness I have going on outside! But they would look amazing on the lawn outside your homes. There are also two adorable little bunnies on each corner of this planter. So cute! And so colorful just like we'd expect Spring to be, right?

FACEPALM CLOTHING - REAL FAIRY TALE

Well, wouldn't ya know it? I am doing all this while wearing this new T-shirt set called +FC+ Real Fairy Tale. You can find this at the Twe12ve event too! And in many mesh and classic sizes for all of us! Standard sizes, Bellezas, Slinks, Tonics, TMP and Maitreya sizes are all included! Above I am wearing in on the Maitreya Lara Mesh Body.

I am also wearing the +FC+ Harbor shorts. These came out a little earlier this month and they fit so great on my Maitreya Lara. These shorts are also made for both classic and mesh body avatars too. All the same sizes as the shirt, but additionally with sizes for the Ebody as well! It comes with a 10 texture hud, 5 for the shorts fabrics and 5 for the belt too.

And of course, I have to be wearing some of *Booty's Beauty* products! I know I wear a lot of the darks, they are my favorites, but there are a lot of the pretty reds, purples, pinks in pastels and darker hues. So don't just think she only makes the ones I wear, I am kinda really into the darks, maybe it's the vampire in me! Here I am wearing two new Catwa releases, Eyeshadow and Lashes ~ Empress and the Lipstick ~ Paris. These are made for Catwa heads. Though you might check the store, she does make Omega versions of a lot of her Catwa makeups too! And if not out yet, they may be coming soon!

My nails are covered with the similarly named polish from Dark Passions the Exclusive - Ebony Empress - Gold. These are an X pattern filled with colors and lined in either Silver or Gold versions and a black background. They can be found at The Black Fair which ends on April 20th, along with quite a few other black designs! So you only have a couple days to check out that event before it ends.

And so loving these rings from (Yummy), the Leave a Mark Ring Set. They are Bento and come in two versions. One for Slink hands and one for the Maitreya hands. I have the latter. These are at the current Collabor88 (Ends May 6th).

The Twisted Mesh Neon Signs on the wall and the Nevermore Octo Baby Eggstra are from 2 Twisted Gachas at Roped Passions #15. The L2L Twisted Atlantis Imp - Shelf Imp was a lucky chair gift at their shop (#24).

+FCC+ So Dark can be found at the Darkness Monthly Event and is another great snarky t-shirt! I've paired it with the +FCC+ Aspen Jeans Clean. Here I am wearing these on the Maitreya Lara Mesh body. There are 10 total sayings in the 10 texture hud for the So Dark shirt. Here are a few of my favs! This is made for both classic and mesh bodies and includes Standard mesh, Bellezas, Slinks, Maitreya, Tonics and TMP sizes.

I am also wearing the beautiful nail polish from Dark Passions/Koffin Nails - Flutter Fly - Pastels which are only found at 4Mesh right now. There are three designs in both Gold and Silver and there is another version called Royal with darker colors.
