#545 - Group Gift Shape from Facet Shapes - Iris

Gifts! Don't you just love gifts! Facet Shapes has a new Group Gift shape, Iris. She is so shapely too! Made for Catwa Catya and the Maitreya Lara Mesh Body, she is a sexy shape I will be using as long as I can (or I will be returning to!). She is a little wider on the hips than the previous shape I showed, Celia (which is still an Exclusive @ Twe12ve). Check her out:

Here she is! Facet Shapes - Iris is a shapely cutie! I have not edited her at all, and I am wearing her with the Catwa Uma head and Maitreya Lara Mesh Body. Grab her ladies, before she is gone!

While I was testing her out, I took a swim on a sim I have never visited before. This is a mostly underwater sim called VeGeTaLPLaNeT. Most is underwater, but there are some land areas up top too. It is a very spacey and interesting world to traverse. You can dance here on the mountain top or below the surface. There is a chill out lounge and other areas to explore. There is also a bubble ride that you take to ride around the sim on the mountain top.

Here's a better picture of the +FS+ Iris shape. Don't forget to wear your tag to get this when you go to the store. I love how I nearly blended into the background in some areas of this sim. The colors above and below sea level are so amazing. This skin is the most recent Group Gift from Fallen Gods, Evolution +FGInc.+ Biologic Opal, Musk. I hope you've picked her/him up already, this was only available until Jan 25th. Plus two other Evolution skins were offered at discounted prices too. Not sure when or if they will be offered soon in the store (additional discounted skins that were offered).

#353 - I Love New Discoveries...Loving The Sci fi Latex Look From r2 Fashion!

I love it when I find a new store whose clothing I just fall in love with! Now, I am not one who loves latex much at all, but sometimes you come along one place or piece of clothing that you just can't do without. Thanks to my furry bestie, Fenny (shout out girl!), who introduced me to this store called r2 Fashion. She came by with this cute outfit on and although I loved it, and it was amazingly sexy on her, I thought it might look like on me, and so did she. So of course I had to find out. She invited me to this store I had never heard of. It's a small store and it appears they are beginning to expand, so it is pretty easy to see all the things they have available for sale. And of course, after trying demo after demo, I found some pieces I liked and sets but I preferred the separates. You have those days right? I mean we all piece outfits together a lot I think. Here is the first outfit I settled on.

Then today, I see my furry bestie again and she mentions the latex would look good on the green skinned alien avatar look I was preparing for a blog post. I've wanted this skin from .:Soul:. for so long (since last years Fantasy Faire, to be exact), so I got the chance to do it and I so love it! So, when she said that I thought, I should try that! And I did. With some other separates from r2 Fashion and a gacha panty to make sure I was covered up more than these pants normally allowed, as they are made to show quite a bit.

And I really liked it too. Especially how you can see thru the pants to see my skin markings. I love that with these pants. So I will definitely be back there again for more! I hope there are some new releases too when I come back.

#269 - Taking In The Calmness Of The Sea - Ember's Cauldron Shopping Event

THE COVE - LIMITED EDITION GLOW FEMALE & FALLEN GODS - COSMIC SNAKES SKIN

Just relaxing in the deep calm of the sea. Transformed into a mermaid with a couple of great finds on the Ember's Cauldron Shopping Event. This event is still going on until  April 16th. Above you see me in The Cove's - Limited Edition Glow Female. I am also wearing my Maitreya Lara Mesh Body with the Cosmic Snake [xx] skin from +Fallen Gods Inc+.
The Cove's LE Glow Female mermaid tail comes with Classic layers, Slink and Maitreya appliers for the legs, and body parts to fit all the same body sizes. The tail has a bio luminescent glow that runs down the outer legs continuously.
The Cosmic Snake [xx] skin from +Fallen Gods Inc+ comes with appliers for Slink, Omega & TMP (head and body), Soul Uni-ears and Slink Nails. And on my Akeruka Mesh Head, it takes a couple times to apply it with the applier, I have no idea why, but it tends to be stubborn sometimes taking an Omega applier on it regardless of what it is. But it applies and looks great there too. I am wearing a LOGO Chloe Mesh Head in these next two pictures, it applied very easily with the Omega applier. And you will not see a separate applier for the head and body, one Omega appliers does the trick!

**TNN** MERMAID COSTUME FLOWERING ~GLOWING LIFE~ & +FGINC+ SIDERA PSY GALAXY SKIN

Here you see the **Tir Na Nog**Mermaid costume - Flowering ~Glowing Life~  and the Sidera Psy Galaxy [xx] skin also by +Fallen Gods Inc.+ Worn on the Maitreya Lara Mesh Body again. This is a very brightly colored mermaid tail with a top for modesty covering the breasts and matching pants and also comes with the gemstone arm bracelets and belt (modifiable). The fins are flexi prims and there are many of them. A very beautiful tail and accessories!

The tail set comes with a Maitreya applier (the only mesh body applier included) and system layers for Classic avatars. The skin comes with Slink and Omega (head and body) Appliers, Loud Mouth applier, Soul Uni-Ear & Soul Mer Uni-Ear appliers, Slink Finger and Toenail appliers, and TMP Body & Face appliers.

Both these skins pair very well with the tails as seen above. I was very happy with the results! Both the skins are also Special Edition skins that are not normally sold outside the group of yearly contest participants of the Fallen Gods - Gods & Goddesses Photo Contest. So these are special releases just for the Ember's Cauldron Shopping Event and will not be sold after the event ends on April 16th!

#204 - Dia De Los Muertos & Halloween!

Well, I've been running around trying to have a little bit of fun and make sure I get to the various events, hunts, Halloween parties, Halloween or spooky sims, etc etc before they are gone! I am so glad I did! Here are a few looks I was wearing while I was doing all that running around.

!dM's LACATRINA GACHA OUTFIT & ACCESSORIES

When the gacha came out, I had to have as many outfits as I could get and I played this one a lot! And, if you are a fan of !dM, you know this is not a new outfit. But I've used it since I acquired them last year during the Tag Gacha Event. It is made of standard mesh sizes only but works well since it is a full skirt, I didn't have a problem wearing it on the Maitreya body which I use the most. Here I am wearing the outfit and the accessories which are won separately. I am not wearing the head flowers which came with it because I picked up the Astralia Catrina headpiece and veil from The Candy Fair Event. It is a collaboration between Astralia & Runaway Hair. Runaway created a hair that goes with this veil too and it fits perfectly underneath. I don't have that but the veil also comes in an unrigged version and you can wear just the candles alone if you want too. The Headpiece alone is unrigged and the Headpiece / Veil combo are rigged for the [RA] Hair (sold separately). I thought this complimented the look very well so I wore them together to have a slightly different look, but the head/hair flowers (part of the !dM outfit) are also very nice to wear with this outfit and there is also a parasol in the accessories of the !dM outfit which is not shown. I will include the gacha key at the end of this post.

Of course, I had to have the skull face makeup too, what would I look like without that on the Dia De Los Muertos?! This is from Delizio. Very inexpensive and looks great. It only comes in the standard avatar tattoo layer though. And I do not yet have a mesh head for those make ups which are pretty awesome this year!

I am also wearing: [RA] Runaway - Enchantress Hair, this is not the hair for which the veil is rigged for - just FYI.

#160 - Strangers On The Bay...

As Maya walks out of the caves, she pauses, noticing in the distance there was an unfamiliar vessel in the bay. Taking an interest in who this might be, she begins the trek to get to a better observation point. Somewhere where the visitors can be easily seen but where she can stay out of sight. Hopefully they mean no harm and are not planning to stay.

STRANGERS IN THE BAY

Maya is a scout for her clan so it is her duty to learn what is happening, if anyone is coming and to keep watch over anything out of the ordinary or that may pose a threat to the clan's well being. As she makes the short journey to get a closer look, she ties back her hair so it does not bother. Trying to stay in the shadows so her presence isn't known, she stays close to the tall rocks and does her best to stay out of sight. It appears they are not staying, no need to worry...for now.

#91 - Calling Out To The Spirits - FF

She climbs the mountain and arrives at the sacred stonecircle where the spirits will communicate when summoned. Calling out to the spirit gods for guidance and protection, the sky churns and clouds swell and the sky becomes a vivid purple and pink with the activity of the spirits coming to join her in the stonecircle.

#73 - Finding my inner roleplayer @ We Love Roleplay.

I would call this my green warrior. I tried elf ears but the ears were hidden too much by the hair so I guess I went with a warrior of some type! Both these looks are displayed on the Maitreya Lara Mesh Body.

I found this big hair that I loved in the bright colors at the We <3 Roleplay event. Which began on April 4th and runs for a month. There are so many great designers there and lots of different offerings for roleplayer. And the prices were very nice! You might also find a new RP community to become a part of too. 

I chose this hair from [RA] (Runaway Hair) called Winx to go with my Pure Moss Skin from Fallen Gods. Fallen Gods has some Flowering Wood Nymphs skins there this round, what you see here was from a previous round but is currently available at Fallen Gods.

The location, Little Egypt was pretty small, its on a platform and it was very simple. The dwelling was very big and very nicely decorated on the inside. I only looked around and took my pictures outside the building. These are the "Iset" Silver - Egyptian silks from !dM.  They come with wings that move as your arms move. You can wear with or without the wings, it looks just as majestic without them.

#44 - A Star Wars Fantasy Twi'lek with Items from !dM & Fallen Gods!

I love so many of the Star Wars characters but I'd not really tried any of them out here in SL until once last year when I found a $10L Twi'lek skin and really liked it. Now, at the Fantasy Gacha Carnival, !dM has their N'Shaddaa Gacha for Mesh Bodies and Classic Avatars. So, I had to try! I loved the way the Ad looked and I had to have the same look. 

What I really like about this gacha is that when you play, the commons are all the dancer silk sets in full. Not in pieces! I really loved that! So each time I received a common, I had a full outfit I could use with my mesh body or my standard avatar. The RAREs are four items: Dancer Silks **THE FORCE**, THE DARK SIDE, Chromatic Shift & The Ornamented Lekku Headpiece with the Four Tentacle Option & Wild Stripes Option on those tentacles.

Then, I have a Blue skin from +FGInc+ (Fallen Gods). So this is the Female Frost - Ice Skin. The N'Shaddaa Lapis Dancer Silks with Silver metal parts (option in the menu for the dancer silks) and the Ornamented Lekku Headpiece tinted as close as possible to the skins color.And as in all pics, the headpiece has the wild stripes option worn but cannot be seen in the front, only in the back and they are very, very light in color. I am also wearing The Dark Legacy Tattoo RARE (Full) in the Soft Full Body option and the Trouper Head Tattoo Face Marks (Soft Option) on the standard avatar head. All Tattoos are from the Legacy Gacha from Fallen Gods.

This gacha is also at the Fantasy Gacha Carnival and it does come in various pieces but not as many pieces(Limbs - Chest - Head), but it does come in four different possible colors for each piece. The 2 RAREs are the full body tattoos in Intense and Soft tattoo versions and all four colors. It does not include the Face Mark tattoos so you will need those to complete the look. And the Face Marks come in four different versions each with 2 tintable versions of Intense and Soft tattoos.

I don't think I am done experimenting with this look! I have another skin I will definitely try out with this outfit. So I may update this post or just post that to my Flickr when I finish with that one.
