#206 - New Fall Clothing From +Facepalm+

Fall is upon us and I love the changing leaves and the cooler temps that it brings with it. So you will need some warmer clothing and of course the colors are more like the season that is upon us!

This is the Cady outfit from +Facepalm+ and the !Head Desk!Yolanda Hair. I found a very beautiful sim (with the help of fellow bloggers) that was all done up in the seasonal Autumn colors and landscape. Found a nice place to sit and take in the beauty around me.

Next I have a fun outfit called Gobbles, this is a T-shirt and pant outfit. I love the look of the pants, they look like yoga pants and would be great to wear during a workout. The tee is a white/off white tee with a few choices on the prints on the front. This one says, "I Stuffed the Turkey with Valium - You're Welcome!". This you can get from the "Turkey Jerky Hunt" in the store through the month of November!

This is worn on the Maitreya Lara Mesh body. This was another autumn season location! Also very pretty and they do weddings (some on the fly!) too!

This is the Alexa outfit from Ahroun Designs. Its a cute strappy tank top and shorts made for many mesh bodies! Standard Mesh sizes, Flow, Hourglass, Physique, TMP and Maitreya. I am wearing this on the Maitreya Mesh body.

Clearing a path as she goes ahead before the clan, using her large knives made of bone, she prepares a path for the rest of the clan to follow en route to their new home. She isn't alone, more way makers are nearby also scoping out the new area and also making a way through the foliage. All the clan members are enthusiastic about the relocation to higher ground. From this point they will be able to see all the land in the valley below easily, making life easier and less open to surprise.

#52 - Lovecats Mira Dress - Hunt Item in the Womenstuff Hunt!

#51 - An Amazing Sci-Fi look thanks to the Multiverse event!

I so love Science Fiction movies and wish I were able to create what I love in Second Life. But, until I am able to do that, I love making it to the events that allow me to indulge in my passions. I don't really do any RP of any kind but I love to look the part! If I had time, maybe I would! And I put this together from gachas from the Fantasy Gacha Carnival, Multiverse Event Blog items and purchases, Colabor88 - Espionage and previous purchases. I hope you like it! The Multiverse event runs thru March 15th, so do not delay!

Multiverse 2016 Look - Location: Insilico

I have done a post featuring the Anachron - Data Bracer which is available at this event and I LOVE it! And ran into someone who came to the event specifically for it but was browsing around and saw me with it. So they were able to see it in action and take a really good look at it. So that was great! I was happy and eager to show it off!

So first the Makeup, Hair and headset:

I love it! And it goes great with this look that is unnamed other than my Multiverse look. The Makeup is .:Soul:. - Cypher - Lime - Makeup. It's Eyeshadow & Lipstick that come together in one package. And you can apply them separately, I really love having that option! 

The Headset is from *~*HopScotch*~* Clinger Visor in Silver and it comes in both male and female versions in the box. There are three different colors to pick from and you also receive a left side and a right side version in the box too. I really appreciate that because sometimes...my hair...ugh! You usually do not have a left or right side version of the same hair. But hey, this makes it easy!

The hair is called Warpath from The Stringer Mausoleum (*TSM*). And I it is a Limited Edition! So if you want it! Grab it before this event is over on the 15th! It is all black and here is a better look!

It looks like a bundle of braids with bangs, hanging braids or dreads in the back and horns and a crown of hair. All one piece, it really reminds me of Marge Simpson on The Simpsons! Lol! And it looks great with this outfit! It fits! There are other versions there too in other colors. And they have a freebie hair too which reminds me of something similar I've seen on Star Trek that Whoopie Goldberg wore. Sorry, I don't remember her character's name, my Star Trek fandom is not as strong as my other fandoms.

Then we have the clothing! First the top consists of a couple pieces from the MushLu - Bobaffet StarMercenary gacha at The Fantasy Gacha Carnival, these are pieces I found at a yardsale at a very great price, I was very lucky! And the belt is from the same gacha and is a RARE piece that includes a weapon (not shown).

From top to bottom: 

The Fantasy Gacha Carnival ended on March 7th, but you might be able to find the Bobaffet StarMercenary gacha at the MushLu store. Or find pieces at some yardsales, which you will find plenty of at the EPIC gacha sims. Where you can also find my spares and rares available for sale (shameless plug! More in my profile picks too!)! The Bobaffet Top and Jacket in black are separates and the jacket includes the arm patches. The Belt is a Rare item. 

The Pants are the ISON - Spy Pants (Black) from the Colabor88 - Espionage round (previous round). These pants include a size for Slink, Maitreya, and 5 mesh sizes for Classic avatars. I am wearing the Maitreya size for the Lara Mesh body.

The boots are a previous purchase but available now at the Multiverse event. They are the Bliensen + MaiTai - Orbital - Space Boots and are made to fit Slink and Maitreya feet. I still needed to hide the Maitreya feet due to some slight showing through the boots. But the Slink fit them perfectly.

#48 - The Twisted Hunt has begun! Let the madness begin!!!

Twisted (theme: Odyssey) ~ The hardest hunt in SL runs from March 1st thru March 31st and if you have not done it before, be warned! It is the The Hardest Hunt in SL! It is very hard and very frustrating at times. And the group members and merchants are all so great and very helpful. The Merchants come up with such great prizes, they just keep getting better year after year! And I always make a few new friends every hunt - which is twice a year, along with other events. 

I love finding and creating the strangest, weirdest, or yes, Twisted looks with the prizes found on this hunt! I tend to do many different looks during the hunt so this is only the first of a few expected posts! I love, love, love the Twisted Hunt and have for quiet a few years since I discovered this hunt. This group is very lively and entertaining, it remains active throughout the year and I've come to know many of the group members and its one group I will not be giving up. We are a Twisted sort of people and its feels very much like a community. Okay enough of the mushy stuff! Let's get to the look!

My first Twisted Look of the Week is this Astraea Black Velvet Outfit from :{MV}:, this item I actually bought at location #3 from the Riot Vendor. So I kinda cheated here by doing that but, I had to have it! I was assisted by many others in the Twisted Hunt group (Thank You all so much!!!) and from friends (Thank You too!!! Very much!) and we got it down to $155 from a previous $415 when I arrived there! Her hunt gift is a similar item but in White (I hope I am okay giving out that spoiler!). This outfit from the Riot Vendor includes the arm and wrist bracers, Circlet and Slink Flat sandals, for a complete look! Many of the merchants along the hunt have Twisted Specials, Gachas and Limited Edition items as well! Lots to find on this hunt other than the hunt prizes.

#47 - An Angel Sharing Her Feathers!!! SaNaRae is open!

I am quite the different kind of angel I must admit! But this particle emitter by Anachron definitely adds to the angelic feeling by emitting the feathers in  my choice of colors from the HUD. You will find this at the current SaNaRae event which runs until March 18th. And you can get either the Feather Particle Emitter or the Petal Particle Emitter and both come with the HUD with colors and varying levels of emissions, meaning the feathers or petals can be very light to very heavy, and there are two additional effects with the particles too at the bottom of the HUD. The pictures here only show the original effect of falling feathers and petals.

This is the Feather Particle Generator and it is running at the heaviest level. This Emitter can be worn or rezzed to use it. I am wearing it and it attaches to the Avatar Center.  Here I am demonstrating it with the Feathers in Green and White.

The Petals are much smaller and seem to float around as if you are walking past people throwing petals over your head. Softly falling all around you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have using it!

#44 - A Star Wars Fantasy Twi'lek with Items from !dM & Fallen Gods!

I love so many of the Star Wars characters but I'd not really tried any of them out here in SL until once last year when I found a $10L Twi'lek skin and really liked it. Now, at the Fantasy Gacha Carnival, !dM has their N'Shaddaa Gacha for Mesh Bodies and Classic Avatars. So, I had to try! I loved the way the Ad looked and I had to have the same look. 

What I really like about this gacha is that when you play, the commons are all the dancer silk sets in full. Not in pieces! I really loved that! So each time I received a common, I had a full outfit I could use with my mesh body or my standard avatar. The RAREs are four items: Dancer Silks **THE FORCE**, THE DARK SIDE, Chromatic Shift & The Ornamented Lekku Headpiece with the Four Tentacle Option & Wild Stripes Option on those tentacles.

Then, I have a Blue skin from +FGInc+ (Fallen Gods). So this is the Female Frost - Ice Skin. The N'Shaddaa Lapis Dancer Silks with Silver metal parts (option in the menu for the dancer silks) and the Ornamented Lekku Headpiece tinted as close as possible to the skins color.And as in all pics, the headpiece has the wild stripes option worn but cannot be seen in the front, only in the back and they are very, very light in color. I am also wearing The Dark Legacy Tattoo RARE (Full) in the Soft Full Body option and the Trouper Head Tattoo Face Marks (Soft Option) on the standard avatar head. All Tattoos are from the Legacy Gacha from Fallen Gods.

Location: Planet Ahch-To Star Wars Roleplay sim - Stone bridge

This gacha is also at the Fantasy Gacha Carnival and it does come in various pieces but not as many pieces(Limbs - Chest - Head), but it does come in four different possible colors for each piece. The 2 RAREs are the full body tattoos in Intense and Soft tattoo versions and all four colors. It does not include the Face Mark tattoos so you will need those to complete the look. And the Face Marks come in four different versions each with 2 tintable versions of Intense and Soft tattoos.

I don't think I am done experimenting with this look! I have another skin I will definitely try out with this outfit. So I may update this post or just post that to my Flickr when I finish with that one.

#30 - A Couple of Great Looks I Wanted to Share!

I've been taking random shots lately - of my outfits - but I've not had the time to share so finally, here they are! Well, a couple outfits and one is a gacha sale I found on the MP - I had no idea it was a gacha! And the other was actually in the last post I did but the main focus was not the outfit so I am including it here again. And the first look is the gacha find I came across on the Marketplace.

EGYPTIAN SPLENDOR

So this is the gacha I found on the marketplace, its not marked as a RARE but I was thinking it was but its made by Champagne Sparkling Couture. I've never heard of them but I think its time that I paid them a visit! Love it! It includes the entire outfit including the headdress/helmet or crown rather. I like wearing big hair so luckily, the headdress does have a resize script. But it looks like hair anyway so wearing it without hair looks okay too.

Then I decided that I would mess around with some filters within the Firestorm Viewer and I got this result with two different Monochrome filters. Jules Verne and Toy Camera. And here is the result...just fooling around with the pics!

Then this is the repeat outfit from the last post for Anachron. But I like it so much I am still wearing it now! It's the UC_Fringe_bandage_dress_black and its so nice looking on me! I was chasing some gacha keys when I ran across this outfit. And I don't regret it! I added some boots I had from Sky - AriJ Strapped Boots Black, and whom I can't locate anymore so - wah!

This mannequin is a new prop suggested to me by a friend from {What's Next}. It's called Mimi's Mannequin with Poses. It has five poses in it. And the chair I am using on the right is from Purple Poses & ME Jewelry - Holographic Stool - Pack 2 @ Collabor88, the stool comes with a color change HUD for the metal and has six poses.

And this same friend suggested I go to Earthstone Jewelry and Wow!!! I love the jewelry there but I held off since I had just purchased a couple necklaces but I did find some eyes I really, really love! They are the Earthstones Jewelry Idol Eyes in Chocolate Diamond. And here is a look at those:

#29 - SaNaRae has begun! Anachron is there!

SaNaRae has started and Anachron has some cute Sugar & Sour Heart purses for you! There are 14 Sugar Heart commons and 7 Sour Heart RAREs in this gacha set! All the familiar colors and sayings (plus a few new ones!) of the candy hearts we all know so well from our Valentine's Days past...and present! And, hopefully to come!

Here I am at the SaNaRae event at the Anachron booth. I am holding the "XXX" White RARE Sour Heart Purse. Its not easily seen in the gacha key on the machine so now you can see it perfectly! The event sim is a very calming and serene surrounding! I want to just stand around and look at the sky! It seems to be a very peaceful place! I enjoyed it here.

#22 - Disco Dance Party deserves a great Disco look!

Last week I attended a Disco music set by one of my favorite DJs and good friend, DJ Star (Starman2k7 Randt). I showed up and he and his host were all dressed up in Disco outfits with afros and all that! I had seen the notice but I'd been so busy with RL family and blogging in between so I forgot to get an outfit together so when I showed up I was in one of my blogging outfits. Sure, not everyone shows up all dressed up and I've not been to a themed party in soooo long. But I felt so out of place until the beat hit me! LOL. But still I wanted to dress up too, so when I found out Part 2 of the Disco set was today, I had to get in costume and join the fun! Here is the result and it was perty cheap! And I cheated a little with my own stuff! I can't believe I did not have any disco clothing in my inventory!

I cheated by wearing some slink heels I already had so they weren't in theme but they matched! And the flexi at the bottom of the outfit hid them anyway. There was no one there looking at my shoes! The Fro and the outfit was perfect! And it only cost me $45 Lindens! Outfit - Shoes (which I did not use) - Jewelry - Earrings (not worn) AND the Afro where included! There are a few things I didn't wear from the outfit trying to make it as I liked it. And this was the end result! I love it! I ended up partying in it later at an R&B club too... totally out of character there but I liked it that much! LOL. So, I had to share it here too!

Yup, I had dances to match the theme too. I kept digging and I found more than I knew I had so I must have done this before sometime that I've forgotten! Hope you get the chance to hear this DJ if you like R&B, Funk and Ol' Skool music, he loves to play that and on Tuesdays at 2 pm SLT, its on at The Dish with DJ Star! Next week, its Funk music! Inworld he is Starman Randt.

#9 - A Final Farwell...Stay Cozy and Warm

Well, the last couple of days are upon us...it's been great to experience all the designs from the creators at the On the Boardwalk Gacha Fair. The Frozen Fantasy round is nearly over, the clock will strike midnight on the 4th and that will be the end! I hope you've made it down here to check out the gachas especially created for the event. I will be trimming the tree and decking the halls in this warm and gorgeous blue pastel snowflake fur trimmed dress. Very luxurious and did I mention gorgeous? This is from Get Frocked and I am wearing the RARE that comes in all colors offered (8 in all) including the Silver Snow RARE (which can be viewed on my Flickr).

#1 ~ Elegance & A Classy Look ~ Dynastic Leanings From The Dark Fae

I do have varied taste when it comes to fashion or style, usually opting for something more edgy or Goth, Sci Fi or Fantasy. But I took one look at the notice from Corvi (Ashdene) that day and had to go look at this outfit. The picture on the ad caught my eye and the mention of this outfit and one other being in the Solaris Fashion Show over that weekend. I went, I saw and I had to have it. So I thought, the outfit but not so much the boots, they don't really look like me. But I tried the entire outfit anyway and OMG! I could not stop looking at myself! Lol! I don't usually go for boots so tall, its just a thing I don't usually buy. This time I did and I am so very glad I did. I receive compliments on it whenever I wear it.

 

And I love this hat and veil, also another thing I avoid wearing but do wear it when I wear this outfit. I think its very elegant and classy. It also comes with the jewelry too. Its the full package and the boots are separate. Both the outfit and the boots come with a color change HUD with 7 color choices. I love the blue I haven't given the other colors much chance but I am sure they will get their chance too. This is not an outfit that will be just sitting in my inventory like a lot of other stuff!
