So it's our favorite Twisted time of the year again! It's the Twisted Hunt Inferno! Back for fall hunting and driving us completely crazy for these amazing hunt prizes! This time around the theme is Inferno and boy did I go through one to get these prizes here! All of the decor is from the Fantavatar & Moonstruck/Lilith's Den (#8 & # 11) side hunt (side hunt collaboration with both stores). If you haven't done it, it was great fun and it was very entertaining. Made me jump in a couple places. The big bones and lava gateway here is the F&M * Twisted Inferno Gate TP, and is actually a teleporter you can use on your land. As soon as I saw this, I had to have it! I was hoping this was available somewhere in the store or on the hunt, and it is!

MISHMASH FUSION - MAIN HUNT PRIZE #42 - MS. BEEL GOWN

The gown is the Mishmash Fusion - Ms. Beel Gown (shown on Maitreya Lara) and it is the Twisted Hunt Main Prize from Mishmash Fusion (#42), which also includes a men's outfit in the same hunt cube. So don't miss that guys)! The Ms. Beel outfit comes with the dress, Flaming Tiara and Foot Flames, peeking from under the dress in the picture above. The Ms. Beel is made for both Classic and Mesh bodies and includes 5 Standard mesh sizes, sizes for Bellezas, Slinks, Maitreya and TMP.

The Twisted Cube Halo and Snarky Head Cube on my head are both side hunt prizes from Roped Passions (#15).

ROPED PASSIONS - INFERNO HEELS (MAIN HUNT PRIZE #15) --- FOOT FLAMES FROM #42 MAIN PRIZE (ABOVE)

The {RP} Inferno Heels I am wearing with this dress happen to be the Twisted Hunt Main Prize from Roped Passions (#15)! These are made for Belleza, Slink and Maitreya High Heels. Wrapped Heels with firey flames surround your feet. On the left are the Inferno Heels as they come from Roped Passions, and on the right, are the Foot Flames worn with the heels. The Foot Flames are part of the Ms. Beel Twisted Hunt Main Prize from #42 (shown above).

Here you can see the Flaming Tiara from the Ms. Beel outfit, and along with my Halloweeny bento ring set, I have the beautiful offering from Luminesse, the Ziella Aerie Ring. Which is currently at The Wash Cart Sale. This ring is only $10L and it is a bento ring. I do have a bit of a glow on it in this picture which can be adjusted or turned off completely.

Dark Passions has recently released the Stylized Stone nails, and you can find them only at Whimsical right now. Whimsical runs thru September 13th. The fatpack comes with Slink, Maitreya and Omega nail appliers. So all you need to apply to any nails you might have.

Here is the Twisted Main Hunt Prize from Roped Passions #15 and Sweet Revolutions #9, along with some side hunt gifts and a new human toned skin from .:Soul:..(not Twisted related)! So lots going on in this post! Roped Passions also has a side hunt that has prizes in it that match with the main gifts. So I hope you take the time to do that too. You won't regret it.

ROPED PASSIONS - TWISTED MAIN HUNT GIFT (LADIES) SEA SORCERESS OUTFIT

Roped Passions has a few outfits especially for Twisted. This one the (RP) Atlantean Outfit is the main hunt gift in the Twisted Hunt for the ladies. And yes, there is also the Sea Prince Outfit for men as well, the other Twisted main hunt gift for the guys. The mask seen above is from the side hunt and there is also a staff in the side hunt as well. And for the men, the shoes for the Sea Prince Outfit is in the side hunt too.

The skin you will see throughout this post is one of the new Ginko & Gyouko human tones at .:Soul:. this is the [H4] tone in the Gyouko (female) skins. You can see all the tones on Flickr. I am also wearing Ears and Eyes from .:Soul:. too. The surroundings are from Sweet Revolutions #9 and Lilith's Den #7 side hunt items.

Then, at Roped Passions, there are two outfits for the Riot Vendors in the store with two (RP) Atlantean Outfits for the ladies:

If you do not know about the Riot Vend Boards, you get as many people in the store as you can and the more people show up, the more the price on the outfit drops! So if you can get lots of people in the store, you can get the outfit for much less than the original price! What a deal! Call out in the Twisted Hunt group, and usually, we all come running to help you out! The outfits come with the dress, necklace and boots. Here you see this outfit on the Slink Hourglass Body. There are sizes for the Slinks, Maitreya, Belleza (1 dress size/3 boot sizes) and Standard sizes for the classic avatar bodies too!

This is much better seen on Flickr, but here I have the main hunt gift from Sweet Revolutions #9, the Church of the Cthuluh. This is a massive build and it is beautiful. I had to place this and will be using it for my pictures this month and it may stay for a while after that! The Seaweeds, Mermaids, shells and Starfishy Paths are from the side hunt at Lilith's Den #7.

So these are some really great gifts and outfits on the Twisted Hunt Atlantis. I love the colorful blues and all the items I've managed to find so far. And I am sure there are more to come! I hope you try out the Twisted Hunt if you haven't before. It has a reputation though, so be fore warned. It's The Hardest Hunt in SL!

#27 - Venetian Chopines from Anachron

Wealthy fashionable women wore them back in the day.... way back in the day! They were a symbol of stature, elegance and had the women of that time towering over all others. They needed assistance from the maids or servants just to walk around in these shoes. And sometimes to just put them on! Luckily, here in Second Life we will not have that problem! We can walk so elegantly in any shoes!  

They were also used to keep dirt off the long, beautiful gowns worn in the 1600's. And sometimes used as a deterrent of illicit affairs by those husbands who seemed to not trust their wives for one reason or another. Well, no matter what they were used for, these Venetian Chopines from Anachron look wonderful with a medieval gown and I had a colonial looking coat that they paired well with too. However, as you can see, the gown was so long, you can barely see the shoes!

Some of these shoes were so tall, they were some of the first platform shoes that became fashionable to wear and seen as a status symbol for the wealthy women of the time. Some were twenty-four inches in height! The feet were strapped in to the shoes and laced. Since you could not see them in the previous picture very well, I had to put on a shorter colonial looking coat with them so I could take some pictures of the shoes. And here they are:

And, of course, a close up! The height of these Chopines will not cause you any trouble here in SL!

These are modify and copy (so they are resizable) and have an animation in the shoes to slant the foot forward so it sits in the shoes correctly. They are made for the Slink Flat Feet. And they are 20% off at the Cosmopolitan Event which began on January 18th and runs for two weeks. 

Come grab yourself a piece of history! And take a walk like no real life woman could do in these shoes! There are six options to choose from. The one seen here are the Imperatrice version, a grey and tan shoe with a lavender trim and laces. And the price is pretty sweet! Only $159 at this event!
