#539 - Christmas Town Is Still Around!

I couldn't get in when it opened or before Christmas sadly, but I decided to see if it was still around and IT IS! Yay!!! Anyway, I wanted to go on the ride there and did not know it would take us all around the sim. So who better to ice skate with but my hubby, Soccer! And that is what we did! For quite a while! It was nice to be on a nearly empty sim alone skating and chatting! So glad it was still around so we could still enjoy it! Anyway, I took some pics of the scenery and the skating ride we went on over and over! 

I did ask how long the town would be open, but I did not receive a reply so I can't tell you that! Sorry, maybe I will get one and I can update this post. But until then, I'd try the link!

SKATING RIDE BEGINS

Hmmm, I can't remember if there were areas in here that were flashing much. There might have been one, it was not long. I do not recall seeing any epileptic warnings before entering the ride either. 

MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET - CHRISTMAS TOWN SKATING RIDE/TOUR

Nice to go thru all these Christmas/Winter scenes/movie sets. There is an attachment you are asked to accept at the beginning if you want to hear the music and sound effects. If not, you can just listen to your media player for the sim music. I'd suggest taking the attachement, it attaches automatically and plays throughout the ride. It detaches once you leave the castle. If you go again, you will need to accept it again.

VISIT TO ELSA'S CASTLE

Of course there was a Frozen area and I was pretty into it as you can see! The couple skating animations usually kept us in sync, but with me camming around and trying to get some decent shots, my PC did not handle this well! I don't know if that is a normal thing or not.

The pathway leading away from the castle (if I remember correctly!) The ride is much longer than shown here. I can't share all the pictures and areas...there is a lot to see on the ride.

SKATING AROUND CHRISTMAS TOWN

Then you can stay on the poseballs when you leave the ride for the tour around Christmas Town. So we did! And, set your environment to midnight! Gorgeous! This is not the first time I've been here, I usually came by to shop, not travel around the sim skating and it was fun with someone (the hubby) to share the time with.

BEHIND THE CHRISTMAS TOWN CASTLE

Hopefully, it's around for at least a month! Then I can get back there and do it again! It's great when there aren't many people there. A lot easier to skate without lag. The only thing to make it better might have been to have skates on, but I could have missed that on the way in! And then, I may not have added them anyway, so never mind!

#535 - Last Minute Gifts...Or Treats For Yourself!

RYL is in the Spotlight and Hashtag events this month. Sadly, I missed Spotlight, but I am still going to show you the items from that event. And, these items are usually in the store very quickly after the events end. Here is a simple Christmas tree for your home and it has poses in it! Couples poses and a Single pose. Have some tender moments with your loved one!

RYL also has an Advent Calendar this year! This is new this year so make RYL a stop on your Advent Calendar List! Just follow the snowflakes, they will lead you to the Advent Calendar in the store.

Here I have the RYL Potted Christmas Tree with bento poses. The tree has a few poses for singles and more for couples. This pose is the "standing kiss" pose from both the Potted Christmas Tree and the backdrop. The Potted Christmas Tree should now be in the store. It was previously at the Spotlight event.

In the background is the RYL LightStarWall Oh Sexy Tree snow backdrop and it has particles of snow that burst out into a small dome over you. It's a beautiful holiday scene with a lighted star on it. The star light can be toggled off if you prefer. The star light is also available separately from the backdrop and also has the snowburst particles as well. 

The rug under my feet is the RYL SnowTree Huntress Rug. It also has poses in it! And a very pretty winter scene picture. These items are available at the Hashtag event which runs thru Dec 30th. Both the backdrop and the rug have bento poses in them. With the backdrop you can enjoy those special moments with your loved one too. The rug has poses for a single sitter.

And those holiday nails you see are the DP - Naughty Or Nice Nail Gacha at The Imaginarium right now. They are holiday themed colors and designs. The wine glass with the Santa hat is the Holiday Cheers RARE from this gacha. You can see this design and the gacha key in post #532.

The striped ones you see here are the Holiday Iced Treats which is the Gift of Imagination you win them after 20 pulls or purchases from the Dark Passions booth. You can buy any nail sets and/or play the gacha to win the Gift of Imagination. The picture on the right shows the fur tip nail design with fishnets/mesh design. They are the commons and come in many colors sure to match all your holiday outfits!

#489 - New Orc Skins @ .:Soul:.

NEW @ .:SOUL:. HAILEY ORC SKIN (INCLUDES HEAD AND BODY APPLIERS

There is a new Orc skin in town and you can find them both at .:Soul:.! The new Hailey and Henley Orc skins and faces are newly released at .:Soul:.! I am wearing the Hailey on the Catwa Uma and Maitreya Lara Mesh Body. This skin comes with all you need since it is a Special Edition color. I LOVE greens and this skin is a nice olivey color (yes, I just made that up, I think!). It really looks great, I am really liking it. Plus, you can add to this look the .:Soul:. Nippers - Orc teeth that were released at the Fantasy Faire. I have angled them to stick out like this seen here. They do not protrude from your mouth. So, just FYI. They normally sit inside your mouth nice and neat.

You also see the .:Soul:. Draglien Eyes - Bronze. These are no longer available but there are so many to choose from at the store. Surely you will be able to find some if you really like these. These were part of a set given as a hunt gift in the Men Only Hunt quite some time ago. I am also not wearing any other makeup on the face. This is how the skin looks as you receive it in the package.

#151 - Crossroads Gifty Goodies - Begins Today!

I found some very nice simple little pieces of clothing at The Crossroads Event recently and I just had to share them with you. First, a freebie gift that was at the landing point. And there were a few but I have a couple in these pics. The Crossroads begins today!

I loved the look of these two together and I have the chance to wear them for a few days between posts! I love this casual look. The shorts however are not a freebie but they are offered at a great price! The bracelets are the Artemis Bracelets by Kunglers. The bracelets are a gift at The Crossroads Event too.

The hair is a new one from the Hair Fair by Red Mint, No.36'16 (Brunettes) now in the store. It is one of those that has the two tone possibilities!  One side can be a different color than the other. And for the second side you get a large HUD with many choices on the color from normal to fantasy! That was an unexpected surprise! I did not know that!

The skin is from .:Soul:., which was at The Liaison Collaborative, called Fala - [SE Choctaw]. And recently there is a new shade of Fala available now. A darker fantasy skin color.
