Yup the party is still going in Lekku Alley! I don't think they ever sleep there! The music is going and the residents are out shaking it off! Maybe they've needed more release than normal the past year! Who knows! But I am all about the partying! Let's release that stress!

#867 - Revisiting Lekku Alley

My travels brought me back to where I started out. I do not miss my old life but I was eager to see how things had changed since I'd left Lekku Alley. I enjoyed life freelancing, doing whatever jobs I could to make a buck. It wasn't too much different. Dark and just as run down as before, but with more neon lighting. In the cantina anyway. There was a live singer there this time. Someone I used to know actually, so it was a nice surprise to see her doing her thing there.

I took a seat nearby the stage, not that there was much room to spread out there. It was the only booth empty, so that was a good thing. I didn't really wanna start up a conversation while I was there, I really wanted to stay to myself. Besides, I was only passing through. Music was good, she was a pretty good singer. The crowd seemed to enjoy her. After her performance I was hoping to say hello, but she disappeared backstage and I did not want to follow any further. I still wanted to take a look around the area. I had stood in her line of sight as she performed but I don't think she noticed me.

Well, anyway, lots of ground to cover anyway. I will be back thru again in the near future. There was now a spaceport and the old lair for the mob boss of the area was now empty except for a few lingering people. Lots more traffic. I'll see more next time for sure.

#864 - Visit to Ashemi Remarkable

Well, I decided to take a look at one of the recommended sims from the SL Destination Guide. I saw "Apocalyptic" and I knew I had to see it! So, there I went to visit Ashemi Remarkable. And, of course, I loved it! It wasn't as apocalyptic as I imagined, but parts of it very much are. It is a mix of modern urban and apocalyptic landscapes. It is described that way in the description too! It's not like I didn't know, but the apocalyptic caught my attention immediately.

First, I landed below one of the train stations, so in order to see the city quickly, ascended to the boarding area to buy my tickets and wait on the train. Well, I missed the first one while I was buying tickets so, I thought, no big deal, I'll just catch the next one! But Geez! After a while, I was thinking, "How long until one gets here?" Then it finally arrived. But get on and sit quick, because you do NOT have much time!

This is also the new release at the Hastag Event from RYL! This micro mini dress is the RYL - Erodress Metallic in the Belleza Freya size here. There are 8 colors included in the hud and sizes for Altamura, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink and Tonics. The RYL Erodress is available at the Hashtag Event until Nov 30th! So hurry on by and get it! These sexy af boots are the (RP) Chain Boots from Roped Passions, and they went wonderfully well with the red Erodress! Sizes for Bellezas, Maitreya and Slinks are included.

I ended up taking a spin around the city and then decided to get off the train at the opposite end from where I landed. This was on the water's edge of the city. Which was great! From the train anyway! I found the apocalyptic area of the city at the water's edge. There is a mixture of both beauty and rocky, abandoned looking shores on this side of the city. There are still pockets of lovely areas sprinkled throughout the whole sim which is nice! I found this sitting area along the shore, not exactly on the shore, but set back and above the dark, rocky shoreline. Lovely with a couple of places here to sit and look over the water. With a beautiful garden just behind the walls behind me!

The perfect place to sit and enjoy my drink!

Finally, I found a surprise while climbing to the top of one of the buildings at Ashemi Remarkable. I took a look across the street from the top of another building, and oh my!!! I see a flying saucer hovering above one of the buildings that I did not see while riding the train or from the streets below! Nor did I hear it! It was so quiet! *shocked face* 

I had a great time wandering here. I will be back! I've heard there is a secret cave underneath the city too! I will be back to find that! I haven't found the entrance yet. There is still lots to explore!

#857 - Dark, Cute and Inviting

 This is a quaint little home in the woods. Who might be living here? All secluded and such? Who knows but I thought I'd take a look. It was much more inviting than stuff I've seen in movies, so it couldn't be bad or anything like that, right? I mean other than these weird stones on either side of the path to the door... and maybe that weird looking plant (it looks like it has eyes!). I sure hope so.

And it's empty. It sure didn't look empty from the outside! Well, it could have been way worse I guess. Lucky Me!

You can find this darling dark little house at Trick or Treat Lane as an exclusive item from Dragon Magick Wares. The door and the windows open and close. It has just enough space for one or a cozy couple to live in here. Or as some cool decor for your forest or wherever you might want it! At 36 prims, it's not too bad for such detail.  Blood Bath anyone? Actually, I tripped and fell in here. It's amazingly warm! And, I am looking like I might need a bit of a drink too! Kinda pale there!

Just look at this pretty Mexican style dress! This is from Dreaming Thicket and there are six colors available at the Spoonful of Sugar Festival - Destination: Mexico. Six to choose from and this is just one. I am wearing a dark one but there are three dark and three light color dresses in the six.

This face, however, will be available at the upcoming We Love Role Play event in October. We Love Role Play begins on October 4th.

#845 - Enjoying the Forest of Mystical Dreams

What is one of the best thing about besties? Time together exploring new places! And that is what we did recently! What a lovely backdrop! This place is so beautiful. And a great place to show off the new [!AB] Abyssmal Dragon mods.

BOTH WEARING THE [!AB] ABYSSMAL DRAGON MODS

These are very dark green dragon mods that will be available at the Furry Snout event which opens on September 28th! They are from [!AB] and includes the body skins and textures for all the body parts you will need to build this amazing dark mod! I am wearing the Utilizator Bakemono Head, ~JW~ Pointy Muzzle and the Legacy Mesh Body (BoM activated). Other parts for which textures are included are the M.O.R. Eastern Dragon Ears and Tail and the [HP] Dragobird Feet (female) for the Legacy.

This is me above, Melyna. Horns are by .:Soul:. Horns - Crystal Ram. These are a new release at the We Love Role Play event this month. They are an  A-M-A-Z-I-N-G set of horns! The skin on these horns can be switched to accept Bakes on Mesh skins, so it will match the skin you wear. It includes many color combinations for the horns, crystals, marrow and jewelry on the .:Soul:. Horns - Crystal Ram. We Love Role Play ends on Sep 30th.

My bestie here, Yara (seen below), is also wearing the [!AB] Abyssmal Dragon Mod on with all the same body parts as I am. We both are using different horns and wings. There are options for those also in the notecard included with the mod, so be sure to check that out before buying body parts. All the optimal pieces seen in the ad for this mod are listed in that notecard. It is very helpful!

This mod includes textures for the M.O. R. Eastern Dragon Ears and Tail. We are using are the both using these parts. Yara has added neck fluff that is available on the marketplace and I am using the Eastern Dragon Mane (shows only on the back) which is included with the Eastern Dragon parts, I used the same texture that is included for the tail on the mane to make them match.

I am not much of a horns person myself but these new horns from .:Soul:. are pretty amazing! They are splotched with lots color, have crystals and jewelry on them and are also showing some marrow. Now, that may sound kind of messed up, but just take a look! They are some beauties!

So one way or another, if you are using a BoM skin, you can match it! Or hide the skin section of the horns completely (Using the Hud)! And did I mention they are such lovely horns?

That's never fun! This is the feeling I had recently when finding out that a trip I had planned, fell through. I am not going anywhere now and staying home. Booo! I really wanted to go but it's not gonna happen. I guess it's safer for me to stay home right now. With the state of Covid and all that! That is what actually burst a whole in my plans. He is looking great on the Lelutka Evo X Skylar and Signature Gianni mesh body! Loving this skin tone too! Same face for both males and females. So if you need this kind of skin it works for both! Isn't that great? Less time switching skins! Andi comes with a brow or no brow version, plus 7 brow layers too. The Lelutka Evo X Ear layer is also included with all skin tones.

If you have male / female faces from Soul, they have always been interchangeable between the sexes to get different looks. The difference with this face is, it was a single face instead of two created specifically to be used on either the male or female heads.
