#806 - Trying To Blend In!

I am not sure what it is about the Dinkies, but I felt quite mischievous once I became one. I found a nice meadow and it was quite beautiful with gorgeous trees and tall grass. Or maybe it wasn't so tall, I am just very short. I sat there watching nature enjoying myself. So when some others wandered nearby, I felt the need to hide myself. But that was going to be kinda hard to do! Until I thought about the small people shaped stones I'd seen earlier. I think my armor matches those stones! Let me go fall in line and surely I will be hidden! My outfit looks the color of moss and tree bark. Yes, this will work! So there I stood! Hidden completely amongst the stone statues!

These small statues are the Banana Peel - Monk Rocks. There is a set of four and there are light and dark versions of each of the Happy and Pensive Monk Rocks. #697 - Traveling Around The Fantasy Faire

HIDDEN CAVE ON MELUSINA'S DEPTHS

Riding my trusty kelpy, I took a ride around the amazing depths of Melusina. This is an amazing place. I've already been here but missed so much! So of course, I had to go back and explore further. I still need to find the ruins here, those I have not run across yet. Never has the underwater been more enticing. Make sure to wander off the beaten paths when you visit. You can also find these Oceana Kelpies here too. Get a better look at this outfit on Flickr. I couldn't fit all I wanted into this post!

SOUL - RANITOMEYA V2 SKIN

This is the .:Soul:. Ranitomeya V2 [G3] Skin, in the RFL tone. So lovely I think. I really like this one's markings, I own a few of them and I really do like the colors in this line. And these are a new Gen 3 skin line at the Fantasy Faire this year. I have applied it using BoM to the AK W001 Head and Slink Hourglass Mesh Body. I have applied the specific BoM Layer for the head to this AK head. The full BoM skin doesn't apply to the head, so you must either apply it with the Omega applier or try the BoM Brow or NoBrow layers to apply the skin to the head. I have used the BoM NoBrow Layer here. But there is a note included when you apply the skin to his particular head. Which is possibly the same with all the other AK Advanced heads. I thought once the Bakes on Mesh button worked and the skin showed up, but the next time it did not. This skin is available for both male and female and only at Fantasy Faire on the Zodiac sim.

The outfit is the Roped Passions - Olina Enchantress Outfit Purple and it is RP's RFL outfit this year. Very sexy and lovely, showing lots of skin! Yes it does! And sheer in the back too! I am wearing it on the Slink Hourglass Mesh Body. Ooo la la! Find it at the Fantasy Faire on the Lamented Fens sim.

Staying away from the hustle and bustle of the busy areas of the sims. I love looking from a distance to see a bigger picture or just enjoying the waves because I am in the middle of the US and always indoors. No ocean waves around here either! It's nice to sit quietly (or lean) and think on things after exploring for a while.

FOLLY - HELLION FANTASY MAKEUP  BOM RFL, *TSM* WARPATH - S5 - L.E. FANTASY FAIRE 2015 RFL

This is an RFL exclusive hair from The Stringer Mausoleum, *TSM* Warpath. I have always been a fan of the Warpath hair from *TSM* and I couldn't believe I didn't have this one! It is only one color and resizable. Not expensive either and perfect for what I wanted to create. Something less, soft looking? You can find *TSM* on the Zodiac sim.
The makeup is from Folly - Hellion Fantasy Makeup BoM RFL. There are many different colors available and they are easy on your wallet too. These are both BoM layers and Omega applied. I used the BoM layer above. It is layered over the .:Soul:. Brows BoM layer for the skin (just FYI). Find Folly on the Lamented Fens sim.
The eyes are from TLB! - Lyric Eyes/Purple (Omega applied) and are also at the Fantasy Faire on Autumnium.

The outfit is The Annex - Kimama Black separates, (top, bottom & panties) also found at the Fantasy Faire right now. Also shown on the Hourglass mesh body. Find The Annex on the Cassiopeia sim. There really is so much to see and find here with more shopping sims this year. Shop while all these beautiful sims surround you.

Singing the Laggy Sim Blues! I had a bad run-in with lag at the SL16B event trying to shop and I guess that is not a surprise. It is usually pretty busy and lag has always ruled there. So I thought I'd release my frustrations and let them go on the stage! Hopefully I was not too off pitch!

The .:Soul:. Priestess Isobel - Espresso skin skin available at the .:Soul:. store at the Fantasy Faire this year. I think it's so beautiful without hair at all and, it reminded me of the time when I lost all my hair due to chemo treatments. One comment made to me at that time was that I looked like Zena(?) warrior princess. I didn't think much of it then, it made me chuckle though. And I had no idea who she was anyway(heard of her, but that was it). If you knew me, I am totally not a warrior (well, not before the breast cancer anyway!)! Not in the least! And this skin brought that memory back to me after I put it on. I hope you can create amazing looks with this skin, which is also available in the male version for the guys! Find .:Soul:. on the Light of Va'loth sim.

So then with that memory in my head, of course I am going to put on an outfit fit for a warrior! This is the Roped Passions - Ademe Warrior Outfit Purple RFL. You see it here on the Maitreya Lara Mesh body but it also includes sizes for both Slinks and Belleza Freya & Venus (circlet not included). You will find Roped Passions on the Bayounimba sim.

The Talevin's Designs - Crescent Circlet is resizable so you can fit it perfectly to your head, hair or not. This is a beautiful piece of jewelry and you will find this store on The Shrine Tree sim.

Above are the four versions in this package. The tattoo that is included darkens the markings already on the skin, and applies to the head and upper body. On the left you see the skin without the tattoo applied. Top Left is the Color version and Bottom Left is the Plain version. And directly to the right of each, you see the tattoo applied to the skin.

These are the Dark Passions - Moon Totem nails (6 designs included) and they are a new release at the Fantasy Faire. I thought they went well with this full look so here they are! There are two new nail releases here at the faire. You can see the other set in post #570. The package includes Slink, Maitreya and Omega nail appliers. I have applied them to some mesh nails above using the Omega appliers. You will find Dark Passions on the Twilight Spring sim.

HARSHLANDS - FANTASY FAIRE X NECKLACE GACHA - SKELETON

And last, but not least, the Harshlands - Fantasy Faire X Necklace Gacha has a lot of different keepsake necklaces using the Fantasy Faire logo. There are many different ones in this set, see the full key here. Above is the Skeleton one. It is one of the commons. All of them are great and they get more and more fancy as you win the Uncommons, Rares and Ultrarares. And you guessed it, they are available at the Fantasy Faire from Harshlands on the Light of Va'loth sim.

The priestess is up to something... let's hope it's not anything sinister. From her appearance, it could be anything! High in the clouds, closest to the gods she works her magic, calling out...let's hope to the gods, the benevolent ones.

The Dark Fae's - Eternal Hunger *Violet* is just one of her RFL items in the TDF store on the Dept. of Discarded Curiosities at the faire.
Rainy Fey Creations or RFC, has created the Elven Arch RFL & Portal seen to the right of the dragon in this photo. And you can add coordinates to it up to 300m, you can also add your own teleport script if you prefer! RFC can be found on the Midas sim.

The Roped Passions - Nishi Silks Purple comes with all seen here from the neck down. The Necklace, Sleeves, Harness, Skirt, Pasties and Heels. You see it worn on the Maitreya Lara Mesh body. This is made for the Slinks and Maitreya mesh bodies only. You will find Roped Passions on the Bayounimba sim.

DREAMING THICKET - DIANTHUS VEIL - IRIS GOLD TRANSPARENT & ACIOS - EYES OF BAYOUNIMBA

The veil is the Dreaming Thicket - Dianthus Veil - Iris Gold Transparent. It fits nicely on my Catwa Kittia and you can adjust as needed. It includes both transparent and opaque versions. There are many versions available in the Dreaming Thicket store you will find on Tensors' Flying Market.
And finally, those piercing eyes are the {Acios} Eyes of Bayounimba! They come with a set of mesh eyes and hud and an Omega applier hud. And you can find them on the Bayounimba sim.

Stumbled upon an archway that appears to be in a remote location of the forest. Plants are overgrown, but surprisingly well kept up by someone. It was still wonderfully well preserved!

#562 - The Majestic Aurora Dome

CERRIDWEN'S CAULDRON - AURORA DOME @ SL HOME & GARDEN EXPO

Glorious by day and just as spectacular by night(pic on Flickr), the Cerridwen's Cauldron - Aurora Dome (White Marble Variants set) is majestic to say the least! It is currently on display at The SL Home and Garden Expo thru April 7th. Highly customizable with many colors to choose from via the menus inside the dome. There are two sizes and versions included in the box, along with matching benches and crystal chandeliers to hang inside the dome. Lights and Particles can be turned off to reduce the amount of light the dome shines. Glow options can also be adjusted with the menus. Visit the Expo and take a look! 

VIEW INSIDE THE DOME

The view inside is even more glorious as all the glow and light brightens up the inside. The floors, columns, globes, crystals are all changed via the menus found on one of the dome's columns near the entrance ramp. The shading on the outside of the dome also keeps the light inside the structure well. So not to disturb the neighbors, if any are nearby.

Also seen around the dome are the Glowing Quartz Cluster 5's which have touch menus to change their colors and glow options. Also found at the Home & Garden Expo.

The [CC] RFL Chalice Flowers include a short, tall and wall versions and 3 RFL colors to choose from and each section of the plant can be separately changed via the touch menus.

DOME CEILING VIEW

The Aurora Dome ceiling is open to the skies above! The inside of the dome ceiling can be changed via the menu separately from the floors and exterior of the structure. There are two sets available: The White Marble Variants and Black Marble Variants sets.

And for the budget conscious Expo visitor, these monstrously adorable RFL plushies are very easy on the wallet! Four are available at the Home & Garden Expo and they range in price from $25L to $30L. They are resizable via the edit menu. Give these adorable monsters a good home!
The RFL Chalice Flowers are also another option from among the landscaping plants and structures at only $250L. Look to the very top of the vendors to find these bargains!

There is so much to see at Cerridwen's Cauldron parcel (dome at top of the hill) at the SL Home & Garden Expo. And even more in the main store! The SL Home & Gardne Expo a runs through April 7th.

#478 - A Gorgeous Gowned Dame!

She caught the attention as she walked in the joint. Need I say more?

The Maraschino - Marina hair is currently at the SL15B Shopping area and you can find it on the Golden sim. It was pretty easy to get there now in these final days, no waiting for someone to leave and fighting to get in. There are so many colors for this hair with 8 different hud choices and it fits the Roaring 20s look perfectly. It is at 25% off during this event but it ends here in a few days, on July 4th or 5th (sorry not sure!). So if you are loveing this style, come snatch one up for yourself! It is just as gorgeous as the gown I've paired it with. They look so good together!

This gorgeous gown is the {MV} Maestra Gown Vitae and was at Twisted Sockdolanger RFL Summer Sale & Mini Hunt. This event ended on June 30th. This gown comes in many colors and it hugs your body so nicely. Yes, you do need a little alpha but it's totally worth it! I had a little less alpha needed in the Maitreya size than the Hourglass size, but still both sizes and more are included (Bellezas, Maitreya & Slinks)! This is shown on the Maitreya Lara Mesh Body.

Here is a closer look at the Marina hair, nails and makeup! The nails are the Dark Passions - Evening Enchantress nails and I've used the Omega appliers for my mesh nails but you get the Maitreya, Slink and Omega nail appliers in the package. So you get all you need to apply to any body you might have (if omega compatible).

The *Booty's Beauty* makeups used here are: *Booty'sBeauty* Omega Brows ~ Punk Pixie, Catwa Makeup ~ Chantage (lashes), Catwa Eyeshadow ~ Queenly and the Catwa Lipstick ~ Candy Girl with the Gloss Boost Applied to it (you will have to use two separate layers to get the boost to apply). All are new releases except for the Brows. And the brows also come in a Catwa Applier too.

The Maraschino - Lois Dress is the Exclusive for the ladies at the Twisted Sockdolanger RFL Event. There are very nice formal suits as the Exclusive for the men there too! The Lois Dress comes in 5 colors to choose from and in sizes for both mesh and classic avatar bodies. Sizes for the Bellezas, Slinks, Tonics, Ocacin, Maitreya, TMP and Standard Mesh sizes too. I am wearing the Gold color Lois Dress on the Slink Hourglass body.

The shoes are the Beyond Persuasion Designs - Midnight Tomato: Hazel Heels, which is one of the Exclusives from Beyond Persuasion Designs. They include sizes for the Belleza, Slink, Maitreya and Tonic high feet. And they have the Twisted Cube on them too! A fun and stylish memento from this round of Twisted Events.

DEKUTE DEKORE LIVING ROOM SETS - BUCHANAN & CARRAWAY

There are some nice furniture sets at the Twisted Sockdolanger RFL Summer Sale and Mini Hunt. And in the Twisted color of Sepia and variations thereof. Here are a couple from Dekute Dekore. They are the Buchanan Living Room and the Carraway Living Room. They both include the Sofa, Chair, Side table and Coffee table. The Carraway Area Rug is separate and is tintable via a menu and the Tall House Plant is also separate from the sets. It is in a Twisted Cube Patterned pot. Which made it and the rug irresistible to me!

The makeups here are from you know whoooo! *Booty's Beauty* and are new or recent releases except for the brows, which have been out a couple months and I still love them! The *Booty's Beauty* Catwa (Omega available too) brows ~ Punk Pixie are nicely shaped and come in many colors on this hud. Both natural and fantasy colors are included in this one hud! Which is great! I can make the brows the color I'd like to have if I want a different look from the skin. If that is possible with a browless skin option, not all skins allow for this. These are available in both Catwa and an Omega version so it can be used on many different Omega compatible mesh heads. #467 - The "Not All There" Kaori Kimono

"The kimono is a traditional Japanese garment." It is normally a floor length robe "and the word "kimono" actually means a 'thing to wear'." (Wikipedia )  This kimono, the +FC+ Kaori, is missing some of its length! Hence the title of my post. It is a simple yet beautiful garment and they come in so many beautiful patterns. Even if they are a solid color, I always think they are so elegant and beautiful. This is a sexy version of the kimono and you will find this one new in the store at Facepalm Clothing. Made for both the Standard and Mesh body avatars it includes the following sizes: Standard Mesh sizes (XS - XL), Bellezas, Slinks, Tonics, Ebody, Maitreya and TMP.

The kisetsu World Tour Gift Getas (sandals) were the hunt gift from the World Tour Hunt from May 2018.

The kisetsu - Sakkou hair is a traditional Japanese style hair worn by maiko for a week before they become geisha. Very pretty, with silver wires wrapped around parts of the hair. It is unrigged mesh, hud controlled with 5 accessory textures. 20 hair colors/pack and materials options, the hairbase is not included. This hair is available at the current SaNaRae event which ends on June 18th.

The makeup seen here is from *Booty's Beauty* and they are the Catwa Lashes set ~ Vice, Catwa Makeup ~ Kaldorei (liner/shadow) and the Catwa Lipstick ~ Hot Tamale. The Kaldorei liner and shadow can be tinted and has lashes, liner and shadow and a face tattoo around the eyes. They can be tinted using your main Catwa hud. On the eyeshadow seen here, the blue line is the tintable portion of the shadow.
