I am not a fan of wandering the forest in the cold. But I'm staying warm in my cloaks every time I go out. Nothing beats staying warm in this weather. Maybe nothing but not going out in it, but that is not an option, I had to make the trek!

Here you see the Dreaming Thicket - Yew Cloaks you can find at the current GENRE event, which ends on Jan 12th. These are made in three sizes, Small,  Medium, and Large in Standard Mesh only. There is a script to hold your arms underneath the cloak while standing and walking. And that works quite well. If not, just remove the cloak and wear it again. For the ladies, I am wearing it on the Belleza Freya Mesh Body with the medium size. And there are sizes for the men folk too!

#290 - Never Forget... The Tether!

Wow! This planet is amazing! Look at how colorful it is and with such amazing things like crystals and mountains, misty and so blue and the sky... it almost seems like we are in a coloring book world! So I was the first to venture outside the vessel upon landing and in my excitement and wonder, I forgot to make sure the tether was attached to my spacesuit! So there I went floating around this wondrous, colorful new planet! 

Never ever forget your tether!

GENRE opened on the 15th too and the theme is Underworld! Anachron has a cool modifiable Underworld Gate. This is not just a decorative piece, you can actually use the teleport and set it up to take you to a location of your choice on the same sim. Very easy directions and it looks so cool!

I have a Ger/Yurt from Anachron. It is a portable round tent used as a dwelling by nomads in the steppes of Central Asia. Pretty cool! My mom always called our family Nomads when she wrote postcards on our vacations! We could have used this on our vacations! The tent is covered with skins or felt for the walls and roof. It's a throwback to the Disco era at GENRE this round and Anachron has a new Disco Ball with lights, particles and circular motion to bring the disco atmosphere alive!

#197 - Innsmouth Necklace @ GENRE by Anachron

The theme at GENRE this month is H.P. Lovecraft and so there are some strange things going on at GENRE. I took a walk around the Village of Nyght to see the sights there and I was not disappointed. Very dark, forest, very much into the Halloween theme but its like this all year around, if I remember correctly.
Spirits of the undead wander here and there are many places to sit around and visit, but beware of the zombies and large rats! This is a role play village so please familiarize yourself with the rules before entering the area. I found an alter which had a spirit lingering nearby who didn't seem very happy about my presence!
