#717 - Feeling Like A Movie Star!

I recently was out of town and came back to SL Pride being only one and a half days left to being over. So I had to go check it out! And of course, SL had to be mean to me by not rezzing everything. I'd seen an outfit I had to have before it was over! After a few relogs I was able to find it there and see the area fully rezzed. Eclipse Design had the outfit I wanted. Yay! The area was very deserted by the time I was able to see it, and that meant less lag. Of course, SL had other ideas! I paired the jacket and bra with some leggings (from miss chelsea) I found at the Stand for Justice event which has now ended. There never was any end date that I could find for Stand for Justice. Maybe I just missed it. But! I am feeling like a movie star in this outfit! 

SECOND LIFE PRIDE & BLM EVENT - STAND FOR JUSTICE

There is so much that has been said (and could still be said) about the current BLM movement happening right now. I really can't add anything except, I see it too, but I've seen it before this year too. I honestly do not know what to say having been fortunate enough not to experience much of it in my own life. Some yes, but not like what we've seen black people going thru all these years. And I've never seen this kind of support behind the BLM movement before...world-wide! That is amazing! I hope it leads to real change this time! This feels different this time. I know things are changing in my city, small changes and we'll see if they actually happen. Local control of the police department will be put to a vote too. So let's see where that goes. I also didn't know how Pride and the BLM movement were connected either. So much learning has happened these past months! So, I guess I did have a little to say! Now, back to the blog post!

#693 - Caught By Surprise

The long hallway of neon hypnotized me. I love the neon colors and I needed to stretch my legs, so I strolled through it. But it suddenly came to a dead end! And then I turned around and the walkway back seemed even longer than it took me to reach the end!

I almost blend in with all the darkness in this backdrop thanks to all the black clothing here. I am wearing separates from ZFG and Asteria. ZFG Erin top and the ZFG Belle Morte Boots. Both are hudded fatpacks and the boots have 3 different sections to customize them as you like! I am wearing the ZFG Belle Morte Boots in the Maitreya size on the Legacy Perky Body. It also includes sizes for Belleza bodies and Slinks too. They don't fit exactly perfectly on the back of the legs on the Legacy, but at the same time, I am not using the Deformers that come with the Legacy body this time since they are so close to fitting exactly and I am okay with that.
The ZFG Erin top comes in single colors or the hudded fatpack. And, it includes a Legacy size too! So Yay! I was excited about that one! Along with the following mesh body sizes: Belleza Freya & Isis, Slink Hourglass, Maitreya and Legacy. I still do some alpha on the elbows and that is not uncommon for any mesh body clothing I usually wear. So again, not a big deal to me.

The skin is from .:Soul:. [G3] Jalyn [Terrah] and is a new release for the .:Soul:. VIPs! If you are in the group, you get 50% off with your tag. This is a gorgeous mauve skin and it's available for both males and females but they are interchangeable too (FYI). You can apply it with the appliers or using Bakes on Mesh layers. #690 - Dancing the Night Away!

Well, not the whole night! But an hour or so. I took someone's Teleport one night and I ended up in a club where I very much loved the music. I like the Techno or Electronica stuff and mixed with music I already know (or not), I enjoyed it even more! This was Lichi Moonwall's DJ set one night. He is also the creator/owner of The Bearded Guy. I had no idea he was a DJ too, and you can follow him on Twitch too. Too bad I couldn't stay for the whole set but I listened after logging off and then had to turn that one off too. I had an early morning the next day. Hmmm, I wonder if it's recorded and I can listen again? I will have to check that out later!

#689 - Hello Fellow Homebodies!

Hello! So how are you doing at home(if you are under those orders)? I hope you are not getting too stir crazy. This is not too much of a change for me daily, but all the news is. Finally had to just not watch it so much. But it is nice when I go for a walk (taking the dog out). The streets are quiet and no one is out (usually). It's spooky on Friday and Saturday when no one is out though. The weather has been so nice lately too. Well, that changes every few days though! It's still a roller coaster ride in my part of the world.
